Thank god bucky didnt go home, he's the only reason i watch the show. I just heard some of his original stuff and it was amazing, I'm not a big country fan but theres something about his voice that i just love.

I  don't understand why so many people are cruel and vicious toward anyone who tries to do something they are afraid  to do. Bucky nor anyone else claimed they were they VERY BEST, but they tried, and that is not an easy job. It is real easy for  you to sit on your duff and namecall  and  talk nasty about others, but you  really should take a long look at yourself , then you  would be too busy to trash others. JEALOUSY really is a green-eyed monster and is so  ugly!!!!!

I'm really so sad that bucky got eliminated. I just love the guy...You can see right thru him...Such a sincere, nice, humble, happy, lovable person. Bucky is the hottest guy on american idol!!  I love cowboys, especially ones who can sing. And Bucky can sing!!!  I voted for him like 20 minutes straight tuesday night.  I can't believe he lost!! Bucky Covington is a truly unique individual. Not only can he sing and bring down the house but the instruments he plays are unlimited! His original song-"Can't Be Wrong" will definitely be a number one hit! I hope they let him do his own music on the show-it is so not country! and then we would see who remains and who goes!

Bucky is a fine singer.  He seems like a sincere performer.  I like his laid back down to earth style.  He is much better than that "pretty boy" with the weak falsetto (did I spell that right), Ace.  FYI it's really difficult to sing country music.  It's about expression, phrasing, and charisma.  Bucky is a good singer with a sincere smile.  What the heck's wrong with being who you are?  What's wrong with being a country boy from Rockingham?  Actually, let me ask a different question....What's better than being a country boy from Rockingham?  Not much sister.  I've traveled all over the US and Europe.  Some of the finest men in the world are the country boys from NC.  They are unpretentious, honest, work hard, and smile easily.  Bucky is one of us.   I'll take Bucky over those limp wristed, polished, girly boys with years of voice training.  Give me Bucky with the grit in his voice and the grease under his nails.

I have been reading these comments, and I have noticed that many people insult people, and other people call them jealous and act very high and mighty. Just because someone insults someone doesn't mean they are jealous. I don't like Bucky, and I am very glad he is gone, but no I am not jealous of him. I have no desire to be a singer, and so he probably does sing better than me, but that doesn't mean I have to enjoy listening to him sing. I just prefer to vote for the more talented people on the show.

Bucky was my favorite. Kept the melody to every song. Melodies are hard to keep and even randy  jacksonsaid that. Bucky never messed up a melody. Yea he does not have a falsetto and cannot hit the real high notes chris and catherine can but he was awesome. I would buy his cd and attend his concert. Most charismatic and reaal world star. The rest of the contestants are such dorks it is rediculous. I judge singers not just on how high a note they hit. Bucky got no love from the judges for that reason. It was quite unfair to him

You stink.  You sound like you have something caught in your throat when you sing.  You can't keep a pitch at all.  Your hair is fine but loose the "Jessica Simpson" curls.  You need a voice coach but at this point it doesn't really matter.  It's all a horse race from now on out.

Some of you seem to have a problem with Bucky but let me tell you that he might not be much of a 50's singer but his voice definately is suitable for heavy metal.

Bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Metallica would already be his fans!Losing american idol wouldn't be the end of life Bucky! LET THE MUSIC LEAD THE WAY!

You and Taylor are my favorites.  Two completely different styles, although, similar in the fact that you both seem genuine and simply sing because you love it.  I think you have an awesome voice and I can't wait to see you every week.  I was wondering if you have ever sang any Bob Seger songs.  Would love to hear that.  Keep rockin' and no matter what, remain true to yourself.  Don't let them misdirect your path or change who you really are.

The name of this show is American Idol. To me, that is what Bucky is. He is and lives what America is all about. Morals, values, hopes, dreams, family and friends. An Idol is someone who you should be able to look up to. Bucky starts singing at 19 years old, works as a mechanic and chases a dream. No matter what is said to him, he always has a smile on his face and he always responds like a true gentleman.

How can you not look up to a person like that? For me to say "Vote for Bucky" is for me to say "Dreams still do come true" For me to say "Vote for Bucky" I am telling America that I do not follow the mold that the media has set up for me. I am telling America that I believe in something, in someone and nothing anyone says to me about that dream is going to stop me from believing.

There are other people in this contest that I respect. I value their talents and I do not disreguard their talents. Some make you want to dance, some make you want to cry, some make you laugh, but I can not turn my back on the one who has touched my soul. THAT is what Bucky has done for me. He has helped me to see the good in all people. He moves me when he sings. Not just because he has a good voice, but because he sings TO us everytime he gets on that stage and we are sharing this whole experience with him.

If you have ever heard his orginal song you would know REAL talent. He wrote and sings it.

His fan base would have been even larger if he had been given 1/2 a chance. How much do we see of Bucky Covington in the media? He is the most UNDER RATED contestants yet.
