than again, not much of a spoiler, I thought she did rather well last night, but not of course as well as the 2 Davids.
David vs David..both never been the bottom 3 or 2, the rocker and the ballad singer, who will win? haha
Whoever is their persons favorite, vote vote vote next week. It is going to be a REALLY close finale.
But as for my favorite GO DAVID COOK!!! YOU ROCK!!
GAHH! I'm sooo sick of peopl saying that David A. will only win because the teens only vote for the cute one.
1. Most teens LIKE that kind of music and are not as much into the oldies.
2. Sure, some teens may vote because he is cute, but does that make the majoritye of the votes? No.
3. Cook is getting votes from older women for being "hot". How come everyone is saying David A. is only getting votes because he's cute and everyone is ignoring the fact that David Cook is getting votes because he is hot?
Hmm... maybe people should think about these points before they conclude David A. is only getting votes because he is cute, while he is really getting votes for being amazingly talented.
I know where you are comeing from, but lets face it, alot of it is true. If it wasn't, Melinda Doolittle would have won American Idol last season and Blake Lewis would have not made it to the finale, and Jordin wouldnt have won. Especial Blake, because alot of teens thought he was hot, even though his vocal ability could not even math Melinda's, yet she got voted off on the TOP 3. No one cant argue she was not good that night, because I personally thought she was amazeing.
David Archuleta is very talented, and I am a David Cook fan nevertheless, but Archuleta can only sing one style, and David Cook proved he can sing more than just rock.
Think about it, would people go for ballads now of days, or rock and alternative? Of course its rock and alternative. Plus no disrespect, David Archuleta only has one tone to his voice.

HEYY!!! David Archuleta has the most powerful voice out of the two boys left on the show. His singing is awesome and is better than the covers that David Cook steals from other rock artists covers. So stick that in your juice box and suck it.

Cook only deliver 20% his performance but gain the highest vote in this pool...while the top class, consistent and nonbeatable constantents Archuletha just 31%...how un-fair.....
For me....Syesya and Archuletha should be in the Grand Final not Cook.... Cook is supposed go long time ago.....just people pity at him because don't want the same thing happen like what happen to Micheal John and Malubay....

I think it is better if they send David A. to Disney or nickelodean and David C. be the American idol. I cant wait till david C sing a song that is written for him.
Seems like the producers want the 2 Davids to battle it out because they gave Syesha such a lame song to sing the 3rd round. I must say she did the best anyone could do with it though. As far as vocals are concerned - she should win it hands down. Her range is incredible, and she can sing all kinds of styles of music. Not only that, but she has "stage presence". (Something DA is completely lacking.) No one is giving her the credit she deserves. She could either be the next big broadway star-or the next big R&B star - or the next big pop star - take your pick. She is completely marketable in all of these areas.
As for DA. I find him totally boring. I know exactly what he will sound like each time (which is exactly the same as the time before). No originality, no personality, no stage presence, no star quality. In other words- unmarketable. As for those of you who posted that he should win because he is young - I totally go the opposite way. I feel he is too young and has a lot of growing up and maturing to do. Maybe he'll be ready in 5-10 years, but not now. (Obviously a bunch of teenagers are writing that if they think DC is too old. Oh, to be 25 again.....)
David Cook, on the other hand, has everything DA does not. Any song he's been handed, he's made his own. He is unique, has awesome vocals, and is very, very marketable. I predict he will win. But he & Syesha deserve to be the final two standing.
If Syesha gets the boot over DA, it will be wrong - but at least she will make money wtih her voice in the real world, not DA.
I was told that the producers picked the last set of songs for the three to sing the other night. It is not surprising to me that Cook was the best. Syesha and David Archuleta did not get near the backup that Cook did. It amazes me how Producers of these reality shows manipulate the outcome. It is so evident.

All contestants have 100% free reign over ALL back-up required, vocals, piano, violin, tuba… you name it. If they want to they can make it into spoken word poetry… incase you are not keeping up, they chose all back-up.
The reason the producers chose a song was to make it interesting, and add a challenging dynamic for the contestants.
You people and you conspiracy theories have no end… PERSONALLY I think the show is gov. funded to promote North American values on a global scale while, subliminally calming the nation into not noticing the further decline of the US dollar. Seriously, I heard it from Elvis last night.
-=as usual, david archuleta gave a worthwhile perfomance, actually it's more that worthwhile, he IS the best. But i actually thought, from the moment he said he's gonna sing 'with you' by chris brown that it wouldn't turn out as good as it should have been. this IS to NO offense of chris brown fans and especially david archuleta fans but i think that song is NOT competition material and NOT to be sung at this point in the competition. He is WAY MUCH better than that, i know and we know he can accomplish greater thing. bu even so, what i believe in is not going to change- that david could- AND SHOULD- win american idol. in the music world nowadays, i believe that having someone who gives off an impression of purity and innocence is A GREAT, REFRESHING CHANGE....
though i must admit david cook did sing well, especially 'i don't wanna miss a thing'.....

The guy (DA) can sing, but he can not ROCK! It's nerds vs. rockers in the end. That raspy thing DC does is what makes him "cool", and idolesque. It's true, we will never hear DC singing in an elevator! Just look at the two Davids stand next to one another, especially posture and facials. Compare how they answer Ryan's questions-it's a no brainer! No one said DA can't sing, but what feature makes him an idol? Hopefully we will all find out when (and if) he ever cuts the apron strings from Daddy A! Go Davids, may the real "idol" win!
David Archuleta will be right up there with Taylor Hicks and Reuben Stoddard. He can sing, but just does not have everything else it takes to be an idol. Just look at his posture and the way he moves, then look at Chris Brown move on You Tube. Maybe he will mature into a Josh Groban type singer-but with Daddy pulling him by the nose, I just don't see him actually selling records!

Archeletta has a pure beautiful voice. Cook is too raspy at the wrong times and screams the other times. Cook can sing ok but Archeletta simply said...has a God given talent. I have togive it to Seyeesha for looking absolutely hot tonight...and she has a nice voice and good stage presentation and i think she'll do well as a singer..just not the winner of american idol. Give it up for Archeletta...he is the best singer on the show by far.
Tina, David Archeletta is just like any other annoying ballid singer, nothing sets him apart. He is a good singer but I can't see hit records coming from this guy.

David Cook should not be the idol. I don't know where the judges are coming from. He scream and yells most of the time. His voice is not polished like David Archeleta plus he is 26 years old and a bar tender,. What kind of American Idol is that? I can't believe David Cook is leading in the # of votes. It should be Syesha and David Archuleta in the last 2. Very disappointed in the predjudice and influence of the judges.
And you don't know a real "IDOL" when you see one! It's not about pure voice or perfect pitch or looking polished (which is a matter of you opinion). It's about being an AMERICAN IDOL, an idol represents a segment of our American "Pop Culture"! That is why David Cook is leading in the votes. He is "cool", "hip", looks like he fits in the industry. David A is a nice Mormon kid, he has NO social skills or image that fits into American Pop Culture, or an American Idol. Thats OK, he is what he is, and he has a nice voice. He has been over manipulated by a "stage parent", home schooled, and paraded around to various vocal competitions by his Dad since he was 9-including "Star Search" at age 12. At least the others have been in the real world, including the bar tender! The show is not called "Most Polished American Singer", its called "American Idol"! It will all be more clear to you next week!

David A. has very good pitch I will at least give you that. So does Cook. He also has a lot better vocal range than David A. The difference is one sings ballads in a low key and the other sings Rock and more of a 'real" sound
Polished vs "raspy" (real)
Some like studio (polished) while others enjoy acoustic sound of a live performance, this does not make one 'better' than the other… just makes them different.
Some people like to see the raw paint and thick brush strokes on a canvas because they believe it to be more "real" more "powerful" and "raw"; others would rather have a digital rendition of the scene where it is polished and you can clearly see all the detail, it's called a photograph.
Neither of these scenario's are any less valid than the other… just different. Most of you people on here could stand to learn to see past your preferences and see things in a different perspective, it would cut down on a lot of your comments that make you look stupid.

Dont kid yourself. American Idol is about who can sell records. Young davis has an OK voice but nothing sets him apart enough to sell millions of records. Syesha sounds like many other artists in her genre. David Cook is the only one left with Star Potential.
I personally like Cook, but I think i am open minded and intelligent enough to realize that my opinion on that is biased in that he sings the type of music I enjoy. btw I was completely blown away with Roberta Flack's "the first time…" that David did, I have didn't think he would pull it off as well as he did.
David A. Does not have an "ok" voice, what are you tone deaf? You can say a lot against D.A. the one thing you can't say is that he has an "ok" voice. As for selling records… that's you're opinion and it's about as wrong as it can get. First off nobody sells a million records anymore due to the internet but I get where you are coming from and it's still wrong. David A. is the perfect demographic for singing and selling and will make whomever gets him very wealthy. He's young, he is clean cut and good looking and appeals to a demographic with endless amounts of daddy's money ie "disposable cash".
Syesha… I am left wondering if her negativity that she gets is not somehow racial. Yeah I said it, I pulled the race card! This girl has talent, Can sing, dance and act and gets very little credit for it. She essentailly had to claw her way to the top 3. She's gone tonight and I do feel that Cook and Arch. are marginally better than her… but I emphasize the marginally.

David A has no identity, This kid needs to take some time and define himself . To me he is boring to watch I do believe he is a good singer however David Cook constantly has good weeks back to back, he rocks whatever he sings..

David A. was amazing as usual. He will for sure be in the top 2 and most likely will win the whole thing.
Syesha was pretty good too, but I don't think she will make the top 2 because of how much better David A. and David C. have been doing.
David C. had a pitchy night and was predictable.. but I'm sure he'll make it to the top 2.
