wow, lots of david archuleta bashing in here, eh? it's really funny how most of the people who turned out in his homecoming are either teenage girls, and little girls with their moms (who are pretending.. but are obsessed fans themselves). i do not belong in either group range, but i am a solid archie fan. his quirkiness and shyness does throw a lot of people off. but you have to understand he's 17, and you really can't blame his lack of professionalism. i hate to compare, but when ramiele acted like this, I was thrown off. what was she, 21? i think she exploited herself being a petite girl way too much. syesha has a pure voice. singing wise, i think she has the strongest, purest voice among the women. as for the boys, there's no doubt that archie has his game on (except for a few puberty cracks here and there). but we all know AI is not just about singing. it's popularity. i like david cook too because of his originality. his perfomance of abmb swept me off my feet. david cook is suave. he does not say a lot during the judging, but we all know what kind of a comic he is offstage. he has the looks and the voice of a rock star, though that's where the problem arises. when archie sang stand by me only with an acapella drums and a triangle, his voice was smooth; it was perfection. i don't think david cook can do that.. unless he screeches. anyway, the david david finale is out of the question, because it IS going to happen. i still stand by david archuleta because he is the epitome of an IDOL. his history shows the type of person he is, and his outlookt towards the future just proves that he is someone worth following and considering a role model, especially to the young generation. a true idol indeed.

I cannot believe people are still voting for Archuleta.
He oversings everything, picks old people songs, and is the hugest goober I have seen on American Idol besides the guy they called 'Chicken Little'. He is not cute at all (his ears are huge) and he always licks his lips when he sings (disgusting). I can't even watch him without gagging. Also, after he claimed that he had not sang one of his boring songs before TMZ found a video of him singing it on Youtube. Must of been trying to make it seem more impressive that he could sing a song in his stupid fairy voice. My personal favorite nickname for him is the Resident Imp (what they were calling him on The Soup).

Now that Jason is gone I want David Cook to win. Actually, I don't care who wins as long as it's not Archuleta/'Archie'/the Resident Imp.
Even if Archuleta does win, no one is going to buy his cheesy music besides grandmas and stupid teenage girls.

David Cook is the best out of the 3 remaining people on AI. He has shown great showmanship since he has been on the show. I would love to see him win! David Cook rocks!!!

David Archuleta.....very nice performance ever in all the seasons. Positive attitude he always connects with his kind of music. AMERICAN BEST IDOL that loves to sing very nice vocal top runner

Now that Jason is gone, I will no longer watch American idol. Can you imagine how boring it is going to be? David A is going to win because thats what the judges want. He is absolutely atrocious and ends up killing peoples songs by adding his stupid versions. davidl Cook is okay but I want it to all backfire and hope Syesha takes it all home. The show is boring and really those three have no personality. David A cannot answers any questions directed to him, his voice is raspy and breathy and he looks like a chipmunk.Someone wrote today that Jason is probable going to sell the most cds than all the other contestants, so buzz off Randy Jackson.

Some of you are truly tone deaf. David Cook grumbles through songs. The only time he is any good is when he is ripping of other people's arrangements and turning a pop song into a rock song. When he actually sings rock songs, he sucks. And this just goes to show he has no versatility at all. He can sing rock covers of pop songs. He is the boring one that sounds the same all the time. Grumble through a rock song, hit a glory note, and strum away on the guitar. Boring and stupid.

david arch will win because he has every teen aged girl in the usa in the palm of his hands.. he will sell albums like you cannot believe ontop of that he has the look opposed to david cook who looks like he came out of chernoble.

I'm loving these comments! People are finally realizing that David A. doesn't belong in the top 2. I know I'm not going to buy any of his corny albums. David Cook is the best contestant American Idol has ever had. He can sing anything and will have fans of all ages listening to his music, not just little 14 year old girls. I'm not saying that David A. can't sing but there's not comparison between him and David Cook. Last Night he answered "I don't know" to a simple question. He's just so predictable and to top it off can't even interview. He needs some time to grow and become more confident. David Cook is the WHOLE package and if Idol isn't rigged he HAS to win. Anonymous 12 I totally agree with you. If she gets in the Top 2. That will be the end of me watching that show. The 2 David's deserve to be in the finale. And honestly rating wise American Idol knows what 2 contestants will bring in the most ratings and since the yhave been down this year They will do whatever it takes to make sure of it. Even on his off week david Cook can still pull it off. David Arc is just to one dimentional he can sign slow boring songs and thats about it. David Cook no matter what the theme was he pulled it off. He to me has the most talent. David A is good don't get me wrong but he needs to mature alittle he is just to goofy his voice hasn't even totally changed yet. He has many years ahead of him. It time to Idol to give the title to someone different every year it's the same kind of talent who wins. Time for a change!!

Amican Idol is NOT about buying CDs. It is about America deciding who is the best Idol. Period.

America has seen a lot of performances. No one tells you how to vote. There are no rules.

For me, there are a number of performances that stand out and are memorable.

archuleta is the best and ur stupid if u dont think that cuz then ur completely tone deaf....

david cook is a good performer and singer but he doesnt have as pure and as amazing of a voice as david archuleta so david archuleta should win!!!!

David Cook is simply the best performer Idol's ever had. The others don't even come close. And I believe he will sell more records than any of them because of his ability to reach a wide audience.
