Wow, I really don’t get so caught up in these reality shows but I do watch and enjoy. However I know it is all about the ratings but found myself very discouraged when I knew a girl who went and tried out in Denver for the show.

This girl was talented and no she is not related to me or a good friend she is a local girl that waits on tables at a restaurant I go to.

Anyways she actually won a local contest and received a trip to Denver to try out. She said that she was in with a group of people who was amazing, she said they were extremely talented and could really sing well and several of them had won singing contest.

NOT ONE SINGLE ONE OF THEM MADE IT.

oh yea and you don’t try out for Simon and Paula and Randy you have to make it thru several rounds before you get to them. SO WHY ARE THEIR ALL THESE REALLY HORRIBLE SINGERS TRYING OUT FOR THE 3 STOOGIES. Apparently the best way to ensure a tryout for them is to be really really bad. HOW SAD

I really thought this show was about finding talent but it really is like everything else just about making money, I guess they figure people wont watch if they didnt have the morons who cant sing for the laugh factor.
