Every year, one artist gets to benefit from the contestants demise. This year it is Carrie Underwood who gets to benefit from American Idol all over again.

The name of the new song being used to say goodbye to the eliminated contestants on American Idol in 2009 is called Home Sweet Home icon by American Idol winner Carrie Underwood.

I care very little about

I care very little about "Reality TV". To me, the whole genre represents the delcine of American TV. As a nation we were able to produce shows that had great writers, actors, comedians and storylines. Now all we do is give to the world trash where common themes are sex, infedelity, cheating and incivility.

American Idol is a waste of time because it caters to the culture of cruelty that that overtaken American LIfe. Whatever happened to 'don't call us we'll call you" to perspective talent. Now hurtful remarks buy ratings and men such as Simon Cowell laugh at we foolish Americans who turn to his product.

As for cowell, Is this the best of Britain? a nation which produced poets, actors, scholars, and statemen now give the world snide music critics and profane chefs? What ever happened to the once great britain?

That version of the song is

That version of the song is by Carrie Underwood but it's an old song from the 80s written & recorded by Motley Crue. It is on their album "Theatre of Pain".
