I agree with many others, in that Crystal Bowersox by far outshines her peers. Her music flows so naturally from her. She makes me feel good when I listen to her, and I LOVE the fact that she's NO sell-out! We've only begun to see what this young woman is capable of. I would buy her music - without hesitation!!

The contestants are so very different from each other this year. I feel that the only one that shines in a pleasent way is Casey. Crystal has this odd appearance and she never smiles. Lee is kind of a cookie; so terribly serious and sort of depressed. It is difficult to watch his and Crystal's performances. Michael is nice, but Casey has the best stage presence. Too bad he got so nervous last time. If he reads this, I would have a bit of advice: When you get on stage, just forget all the rest, the training, the counsel, the prep etc and just sing from your heart and you will do just fine.

I am musical (very varied tastes), but last night I liked ONLY Casey, Tim and Siobhan becasuse they were not engaging in BS. Tim is straitforward, true to the new rock sound, no phoney pyrotechnics........ The other males may have bigger voices but were tortured and barely on key. Yuck!

Cuz the guy is good, his giving it his all. And week after week the judges comment on his past performance which set his bar so high that the judges cant even judge him on anything else. I DVRed the show and watched it last night.... Andrew sang I heard it thru the grapevine. I tough he did a great freaking job.... There is a major problem with voting. Within 2 hours what happends if the only people that are able to get through on the phones are voting for the same person? It should happen statistically. Many people that want to vote can't because you cheaped out on dispatchers, there should be no busy signal, if you want to do it right. With the amount of money they make, they could do it, it's retarded. Why don't they have a phone number tracker that only allows one vote per recorded landline or cell phone number? That would give us the ability to get an accurate vote. This isn't the presidential campaign but comon, let's not rig the votes by way of stupid. Adam this and Adam that, he's gone! Where's the mama sox love? She has such a natural voice, I thought her performance was the most enjoyable. It breaks my heart about Katelyn Epperly...I don't even watch the show, and I stumbled on to her audition, and I immediately had to know what happens to her...she is the most amazing talent I've seen in so long, but trying to show support for who you want to win on this show is like wading through a labyrinth. This is the first time I've felt like I have a space to write something about her and be heard, and I know there has to be others out there to.

God never blessed anyone with their talent. God DID give people free will, and let them carve their own path to being a great musician.

People..... Im pissed........ People..... Im pissed........ I think the judges where unfair with Andrew Gar...... They keep im judging him based on what ever performance he did in the past. And this has me pissed. Cuz the guy is good, his giving it his all. And week after week the judges comment on his past performance which set his bar so high that the judges cant even judge him on anything else. I DVRed the show and watched it last night.... Andrew sang I heard it thru the grapevine. I tough he did a great freaking job.... Next thing you know the judges bash him so bad that the guy left sad and a bet 10million viewer's who follow the judges comments now thing he sucks and will not vote for him next week. I think the production wants to get him out.

There is a major problem with voting. Within 2 hours what happends if the only people that are able to get through on the phones are voting for the same person? It should happen statistically. Many people that want to vote can't because you cheaped out on dispatchers, there should be no busy signal, if you want to do it right. With the amount of money they make, they could do it, it's retarded. Why don't they have a phone number tracker that only allows one vote per recorded landline or cell phone number? That would give us the ability to get an accurate vote. This isn't the presidential campaign but comon, let's not rig the votes by way of stupid. Adam this and Adam that, he's gone! Where's the mama sox love? She has such a natural voice, I thought her performance was the most enjoyable. Some of them look so worried about what the judges will say and I don't think they realise that they're already doing what they're trying to win. Who cares if you don't win American Idol if you were on it, you'll get a job.

It breaks my heart about Katelyn Epperly...I don't even watch the show, and I stumbled on to her audition, and I immediately had to know what happens to her...she is the most amazing talent I've seen in so long, but trying to show support for who you want to win on this show is like wading through a labyrinth. This is the first time I've felt like I have a space to write something about her and be heard, and I know there has to be others out there to.
You try to phone and vote and get blocked out with a stupid busy signal. It really makes me mad that the first time I want to cast a vote on this insane show, and my vote will never be heard for, because you can't get through on the stupid phone line, and the whole thing is a bunch of dysfunctional mish mash...but the truth is for me, I've never seen a finer spirit in performing, and this show should not be what defines her as an american idol, because I know I am not the only one that feels like being part of her fan base...I'm seriously rooting for her to win...I'm even watching the damn show now...how do we do this, people? And what is with this God and prayer stuff? I went to a Catholic high school and I am pretty solid on the Christian understanding of "God." Your God is all loving, and doesn't play favorites. Just like in sports, Dwight Howard said that God helped him get to the Eastern Conference Finals. God doesnt play sports, God doesn't take part in singing competitions. God never blessed anyone with their talent. God DID give people free will, and let them carve their own path to being a great musician.
I don't know, I have been Agnostic for a good 8 years, I do not believe in organized religion. But correct me if the Christian view of God has changed in that time.
