i am not originally from U.S. but I have been following American Idol from the beginning of this season. David A. rocks and is mature enough to sing a song.
I don't know what's wrong with Simon to do partiality before the actual performance and results, he tried to sell David Cook on Ellen and Jay late night show. That sucks... As a judge he should be neutral at this point and encourage both contestants.

Let's see 50 redials and I got through twice. David A. had a great night but again he is just one dimensional as a humble ballad boy. David C. is more polished, confident, and original, and yes a little bit cocky but you have to be in the business.
They call this season the most talented. I so disagree but that is another story for another day.

I agree with you 100%. David A is a nice Mormon boy (not that there's anything wrong with that) but DAVID COOK is for the long-haul. I just can't imagine David A on the radio being so listened to past the first couple weeks. David A is popular w/the "tweens" but David Cook is so extremely original and versatile and has a very mature voice. May I also add sexy!!! David Cook will go far in his career and his songs will play on for a long, long time!

Its not a beauty contest. Cook's attractive yes but ive seen better performances in local bars at times than some of his performances. Archuleta outshined him everytime. Hopefully people will vote for talent instead of looks. Not that A is ugly but Cook isnt going to marry any of you. lol Pretty soon his ego wont fit in the room with him anyway. I am a fan of David Cook. I think he has a good voice and can sing a variety of songs. He is also very original too. I will definitely buy his cds.
I used to be a huge fan of David A. but not so much now. It's like I'm listening to the same song over and over again. He can only sing ballads and I probably won't buy his cd either because his songs are slow and boring. Just think of this David A. fans. Will David A. have top songs that can keep you awake or will he end up being a Taylor Hicks. I haven't even heard of him since he won. What happened to him?
