It's the songs of the Rat Pack tonight so it should be a bit of a blast for Tuesday night's edition of American Idol.

Again, Allison is on fire. That was one sweet performance. Tonight is shaping up to be great.
Randy: I loved it!
Kara: I aint nervous for you anymore. You converted some new fans tonight. That was a way beyond your years rendition.
Paula: I've been waiting so long to see how you'd approach a ballad. I'm very proud of you.
Simon: I thought it was a great performance but I don't think you believe you can win. I have a horrible feeling you could be in trouble tonight.
Matt Giraud

He's like a cat with nine lives is our Matt. The two extra weeks have been a bonus but I think tonight may be the end of the road as the others will all be better.
Randy: You're up to the task but it was a bit pitchy. It didn't all quite come together for me.
Kara: You have to be the leader of the pack to establish yourself but I didn't feel you were emotionally connected to it.
Paula: I felt the emotional connection and I love what you did with the song.
Simon: I disagree with Randy. For me it was the only believable and authentic song I've heard tonight. I thought you were absolutely brilliant.
Danny Gokey

This was a little boring for me tonight. Danny might find himself sharing the bottom two with Matt this week.
Randy: This is a singing competition and you can sing!
Kara: The end of that performance was the most creative you've ever been with the melody.
Paula: Stellar performance. I can tell you can see the finish line in front of you.
Simon: I felt you came out tonight to prove a point. That was outstanding.
Adam Lambert

Wow! Can Adam do any wrong? I am living for his performances every week now. He's a star and no one else is coming close!
Randy: You are in the zone consistently.
Kara: My mouth drops open every time you perform.
Paula: Words can not describe... you make me better than good. It's like watching the Olympics and you're Michael Phelps..
Simon: Randy saying that is like complaining that a cow moos. Winning is everything and that was the best performance of the year.

Seriously folks. Adam Lambert transcends American Idol. Name one, just one performer who appeals to a grandfather like me ,my 25 year old daughters generation and the twelve year olds. Simply put,there isn't any. Those of you who don't think this kid is something special need to make an appointment with an audiologist. In addition to having the capability to sing any genre he is teaching the younger generation about showmanship. What a treat to be able to witness such an incredible performer every week. This young man will be a superstar entertainer for many,many years. Imagine the diversity of the crowds at his concerts. I for one can't wait.

Adam, Adam, Adam that's all there is this year, yes he really is the best. Win or not he is the greatest thing that has ever happened to American Idol, what a guy, handsome, great personality, unbelievable voice, what a talent, Thank You Idol for finding him.

What the H? If the voters vote Adam off before the final three, then they are retards. He is by far the best performer of the "best" performers in American Idol History.

I didn't notice that with Adam's song but I'll have to go back & watch it.. I have it taped. And I definitely agree, I think people are getting tired of Adam and will soon realize he sucks.. and I also agree that if all Matt, Kris & Allison fans band up against Adam we can put this one in a bag and get Danny in there for the win! Everyone make sure you vote a hundred million times! The best time to vote is around 9:45-10:00.. I've noticed that people give up trying to fight those busy signals around then. Also try calling the second number.. like last night how they said you could call either 03 or 08 for Danny.. try calling the 08 number.. those are less likely to be busy! GET ON THOSE PHONES!!!!!

Well, some more of the American Idiot. Can't understand how anyone but Adam has the quality to call themselves an Idol. Did not see anything that would make me have one of those four as an idol - no class or quality there. Just my opinion.

everyone is getting tired of adam and i think it may be a surprise that he doesnt win in the end.. i am a huge matt fan and as much as i loved his performance i dont think he can win because of some song choices throughout the competition.
still, if he leaves i want danny to win this! not allison not kris but danny! he totally deserves it and i think if all of matt allison and kris' fans unite against adam it would be really DRAMAtic as adam so much loves...
Did anyone notice the
Did anyone notice the different endings to Adam's performance? The clip at the end when they give the phone numbers was not what we saw when Adam performed during the show proper. Was this taped from a dress rehearsal? Something funny is going on here.

I agree, watching the performances again, I have to give the win to Matt for this round, agree 100% it was true to the theme of the night

Watch the show in the UK. It's broadcast on Thursday with the results show on Friday. Could not believe what I was seeing tonight! Adam won this competition weeks ago. I think some people in the US will vote tactically (I hear that is how David Cook beat the teenybopper vote for David Archuleta last year), and this might explain why Adam ended up in the bottom two. Even those who prefer Danny would have to admit that was a scandal. By the way, of the remaining four (and actually the five tonight), Kris is the weakest singer, but will continue to get the votes of teenage girls who will redial in droves. For me, it should be a Danny and Adam finale.
Anyway, agree that the closing sequence sounds different from the apparent live performance. It was definitely the case when Adam performed Tears for Fears' Mad World. The edited ending when giving the phone numbers was definitely not the same as the televised performance.

I think it's great that Adam can completely rip-off MUSE's version of "Feeling Good" and get away with it. It was a piss poor performance at that. Everyone go listen to their version, can be easily found on youtube.

I thought Matt was brilliant tonight. Maybe the best. Don't know what Randy and Kara are talking about.

I thought Kris was great tonight. Adam was over the top and his performance was not in keeping with the theme of the night. It is Matt's night to go.
I think Adam will win, but Kris should be in the finals.
