I think it is interesting that this website talks about Lakisha and Malinda sounding the same to the point they are getting bored however they are really the 2 best singers on the show. How is the fact that they sound the same which is always great every week boring to someone who is truly looking for a great American Idol. I think that comment was completely off base.

The Critic Wed, 2007-03-28 20:39

It shows a lack of diversity. It's like going to a concert and hearing 12 songs that sound exactly the same without any variety. It gets real boring real quick. I'm not saying they are talentless. Far from it.

The problem they face is that others have the space to really grow and improve where Melinda and Lakisha don't. People will see this in other contestants and shift their vote accordingly. It's already been seen in the polls. Melinda and Lakisha were streets ahead of everone else and now the likes of Gina Glocksen, who had a stellar night last night, came in only 5% behind Melinda because of her improvement.

Like it or not, if they don't start stepping it up they will fast become boring and be sent home

Personally, I think the judges should have a voting stake in who goes home. This is beginning to be ridiculous!!!

Please people, choose wisely. We are loosing GREAT talent to keep Sanjaya. This is American Idol...to find great singers, the boy can't sing at all. Can't you all HEAR THAT? BTW, the little girlwho cried actually liked... she cried because of how horrible he sang. Please don't misinterpret her for anything else but that.
