...VFTW finally made some sense, everyone's entitled to their own opinion, they give theirs, its really up to you if you'd take them seriously.

All of the current contestants are extremely talented and appeal to different audiences.  The differences between the group is what makes the show interesting.  Taylor is absolutely adorable, energetic, fun, and he has a fantastic voice - the fact that he is different is what makes him so appealing.  Even Simon said in an interview the other day that he throught either Chris or Taylor would win.  Personally, I'm voting for Taylor all the way, but I like them all!  I'd like to hear those who are down on Taylor try to sing any of the songs he has performed on AI.

Okay, mull this over: In the week of three left, 50,000,000 votes were cast and each contestant took 33 and a fraction of the remaining 1% of the votes, only 300,000 votes seperated 1st place from "so you had a bad day" place, Votefortheworst.com has 4,500,000 viewers and certainly generated over 300,000 votes for Taylor, Taylor would not be the American Idol without Votefortheworst.com.

The Critic also said, "For VFTW to announce Taylor as the worst contestant left in the competition is nothing more than a desperate attempt to try and gain back what little credibility they had. If Taylor wins then somehow VFTW will be responsible as they were for Carrie Underwood - whose debut album has now outsold Kelly Clarkson's debut album.

Yesterday when Kellie went home VFTW really did look like a joke. This morning, seeing that Taylor Hicks has replaced Kellie Pickler as the worst contestant left on the show is purely ludicrous. Rather than bowing out quietly, VFTW continue to embarrass themselves with these stupid claims that they actually have some influence on the results. 47.5 million voted this week and Kellie went home. The 4 million visitors to VFTW, if they all voted, still couldn't keep her in the competition."

I suppose The Critic will be posting his apology on the VFTW site, admitting that the only person who looks like a joke is The Critic him(?)self. I personally feel that Taylor should be crowned the next American Idol hands down...there is NO competition !!!

What do you want in an American Idol? Some1 who can sing? Well, I feel Taylor is the only one who can really really sing out of all the lot...he has originality and he can move people with his voice...the rest all just sing 'nice' songs, songs which I don't feel would arouse emotions or make you feel something...I feel that the others are only just hyped up!

Taylor is some1 we can look upto. His qualities of modesty and integrity are clearly visible. The others? Well...they are all 1 dimensional...and i dont think any1 can relate to them...

Taylor should win this competition...and I think he deserves it more than any1 could!

I dont really like american idol however my mom does like it and i think that they should do a competition where the contestants actually have to play instruments.  instead of this "fake" talent they should actually have people who can do something other than look pretty and sing.  also, abdual and seacrest need to get over whatever they are fighting about.  oh and did you hear about Bo.

I don't think it's even possible for you to have missed the point more widely or embarrassingly than you have, nor do I think you could possibly be less informed or have less of a sense of humor.

First - go to VFTW and actually try READING something. They made it explictly clear why they chose this Taylor geek. And it has nothing to do with his singing actually being the worst (although I think it is by a mile!). Get a clue.

Second - arguing that VFTW isn't affecting the votes because their choices get voted off is mind-bogglingly stupid. They do, in fact, choose people who suck for one reason or another. Thus, they're almost certainly going to get the boot sooner or later. Kellie sucked, and its amazing she stuck around as long as she did.

You set up a completely false argument: if the person is booted, VFTW "loses credibility"; if the person wins, well, VFTW just picked a likely winner. You're so desperately in love with that silly show that you can't see the fundamental lack of logic in that statement.

Here's a hint: they don't care about credibility. They just pick someone entertaining, who sucks, who the producers don't want to win, and try to keep them around as long as possible.

How could you seriously miss the whole point so badly? Did your parents have any children that lived?

Taylor Hicks in my view, will be crowned the American Idol, he is different to the rest and has a definate, blue eyed soul voice, a kind of Michael McDonald vibe.

If VFTW want to add their suppposed votes behind him then great, the more votes the better..

Katharine will be tough to beat, a beautiful woman who doesn't have to rely on it, and she has the voice to match her looks

I think some of you are quite hard... i think they all have a great talent!!

He shouldn't be singing songs from the 21st century or be limited to Idol's cheesy song catalog. That's not his style, and I'm sure he joined the competition to try to bring something different. The producers don't want something different though, and it's obvious that they're breaking his spirit, even going as far as to make him change his song at this last minute last week because they didn't see "Try a Little Tenderness" as a love song. What? That doesn't even make sense. Tay-Tay is also incredibly VFTW because he either goes all out and acts crazy to entertain us (remember him missing the mike stand during "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" anyone?) or he phones in his performances while looking bored ("Just Once", "Country Roads Take Me Home"). Simon Cowell also hates Taylor, as is evidenced by his reaction at his audition and his reaction each and every week. Simon wants Taylor out now, because he can't stand to promote someone so unmarketable. So what do we say? Stick it to the show and vote for Taylor! He has the Soul Patrol, and now he has us, the Asshole Patrol! Hopefully we can work together to help Taylor win this thing!

Taylor Hicks will be an even bigger flop than Ruben Studdard. AI keeps trying to cram these crappy "idols" down our throats. They fix the vote to make the best singer finish 2nd and get two "idols" to market for the price of one. They did it with Ruben over Clay, Carrie over Bo, and now ith Taylor over Katharine.

Taylor's performances never get past being nothing more than a drunk man in a bar performance. An absolute travesty in my opinion. Go back to 'bama and live quitly under a roc..........excuse me, I wasn't finished!!!
