What and why has Taylor not been on Am. Idle this season as a guest ? It is going around that Toylor has a bad relations with Am. Idle which is understandable is this ture ? Is taylor going to be on this year maybe at the finals ? I thank Taylor is one of the best but on the out side looking in it seems we don't hear or see him like some of the other Idels ? Thanks Doug

Taylor lived two houses down from my house when he was a little boy. His parents are divorced. His father was grey headed early in life so it runs in the family. His mom, Pam, was great. His father was always working so I didn't know him very well. Taylor always struck me as a person who went after what he wanted. Good luck to him. Of course.....War Eagle!

This guy has talent way beyond his competitors, and is a natural on stage. Whether he wins or not, he will succeed in his music career further than any of the other contestants. Regardless of American Idol - Taylor Hicks will be a star. His voice is unique and - using Paula's words - refreshing. The trends today are leading away from Brittany Speas bubblegum pop into music of substance. Taylor has substance galore! He's my favorite for winning Idol - let's hope the rest of America agrees with me!

All I can say about Taylor
All I can say about Taylor Hicks is when he get's behind a microphone I can't help but get a smile on my face, not many musicians can do that do a person. Idol or not, this guy is a force to be reckoned with and someone who deserves to know what a powerful singer he is. Futhermore, his style of music really brings out the soul and passion in his voice. I think I've watched his auditions 50 times already. Thank goodness for Tivo.

An absoulutely refreshing voice and a much need change to American Idol. If he isn't in the finals it just shows how shallow americans can be, because the only reason he wouldn't make it is if he doesn't fit america's idea of sexy....all you need is talent and he has definitely got a ton of that. Look at the top 10 bilboard chart, what do they look like.Regardless this show is about money and the top how many ever they choose for us to vote on will be the ones they think can make the most money. Another correction simon said no to taylor in the audition with the explanation that paula and randy wont put him through to finals, when we vote. I think this is a valid point. Look at who randy has produced. Now look at paula she was a britteny spears. Simon may be an ass but he is always honest.
