Phil for me is sadly missed. He has a lovely voice and is not embarrassing. EXAMPLE of embarrassment: Chris Richardson and Jordin Sparks (and she's still in it).

Phil is awesome! Is america not listening? You dont hear voices like that every day..And the looks? America needs to start looking past outward appearances, if they would just close there eyes and listen they would enjoy a wonderful experience. I thought he did excellent this wk with the Bon Jovi songs, especially when there songs are very difficult to sing.

Phil is the best vocalist of the men but the look is what gets in the way. I like the Taylor hick type of casual suit jacket but it is the baldness and I think the ghetto hat thing that makes me look past him. It is too late to start wearing hair, he could maybe grow it out like Chris Daughtry with some type of facial hair too. Stay away from the floppy hats and stick to a baseball cap front or backwards (not sideways) for casual or upbeat songs and maybe a Frank Sinatra type hat for the more serious songs. Let us focus on your eyes and not your ears or head.....we are distracted from what I believe is a top vocal and emotionally grabbing eyes.

I mean Phil does have a good voice. But you just cant get past his looks. Lets face it he isnt what people see when they turn on the tv. Its a popularity contest and Im not thinking that Phil is going to make it much further in the conmpetition.

I have voted for Melinda everytime except for tonight. I love the Police and I thought Phil did them proud - of course he did himself proud too. I was impressed.

I actually think Phil is a bit ugly, with the giant eyes, the big ears, and the forehead that is so huge it makes him look like he has down syndrome (no offense) Some hair would really do him good. Oh yeah, his singing is only okay.
