David Archuleta will probably win because the show will be fixed for him to win. Why you ask? He has a decently strong following and he cant think for himself. Hes young and impressionable so American Idol and the partner record label can bend and mold him any way they want. He has a good voice, I admit. However, when he forgot the lyrics in the top 12 week, he should have been voted off.
David A. is amazing and original and win or lose, he will go farther than any of the other contestants!!

wow, lots of david archuleta bashing in here, eh? it's really funny how most of the people who turned out in his homecoming are either teenage girls, and little girls with their moms (who are pretending.. but are obsessed fans themselves). i do not belong in either group range, but i am a solid archie fan. his quirkiness and shyness does throw a lot of people off. but you have to understand he's 17, and you really can't blame his lack of professionalism. i hate to compare, but when ramiele acted like this, I was thrown off. what was she, 21? i think she exploited herself being a petite girl way too much. syesha has a pure voice. singing wise, i think she has the strongest, purest voice among the women. as for the boys, there's no doubt that archie has his game on (except for a few puberty cracks here and there). but we all know AI is not just about singing. it's popularity. i like david cook too because of his originality. his perfomance of abmb swept me off my feet. david cook is suave. he does not say a lot during the judging, but we all know what kind of a comic he is offstage. he has the looks and the voice of a rock star, though that's where the problem arises. when archie sang stand by me only with an acapella drums and a triangle, his voice was smooth; it was perfection. i don't think david cook can do that.. unless he screeches. anyway, the david david finale is out of the question, because it IS going to happen. i still stand by david archuleta because he is the epitome of an IDOL. his history shows the type of person he is, and his outlookt towards the future just proves that he is someone worth following and considering a role model, especially to the young generation. a true idol indeed.
I cannot believe people are still voting for Archuleta.
He oversings everything, picks old people songs, and is the hugest goober I have seen on American Idol besides the guy they called 'Chicken Little'. He is not cute at all (his ears are huge) and he always licks his lips when he sings (disgusting). I can't even watch him without gagging. Also, after he claimed that he had not sang one of his boring songs before TMZ found a video of him singing it on Youtube. Must of been trying to make it seem more impressive that he could sing a song in his stupid fairy voice. My personal favorite nickname for him is the Resident Imp (what they were calling him on The Soup).
Now that Jason is gone I want David Cook to win. Actually, I don't care who wins as long as it's not Archuleta/'Archie'/the Resident Imp.
Even if Archuleta does win, no one is going to buy his cheesy music besides grandmas and stupid teenage girls.

Now that Jason is gone, I will no longer watch American idol. Can you imagine how boring it is going to be? David A is going to win because thats what the judges want. He is absolutely atrocious and ends up killing peoples songs by adding his stupid versions. davidl Cook is okay but I want it to all backfire and hope Syesha takes it all home. The show is boring and really those three have no personality. David A cannot answers any questions directed to him, his voice is raspy and breathy and he looks like a chipmunk.Someone wrote today that Jason is probable going to sell the most cds than all the other contestants, so buzz off Randy Jackson.
Some of you are truly tone deaf. David Cook grumbles through songs. The only time he is any good is when he is ripping of other people's arrangements and turning a pop song into a rock song. When he actually sings rock songs, he sucks. And this just goes to show he has no versatility at all. He can sing rock covers of pop songs. He is the boring one that sounds the same all the time. I'm loving these comments! People are finally realizing that David A. doesn't belong in the top 2. I know I'm not going to buy any of his corny albums. David Cook is the best contestant American Idol has ever had. He can sing anything and will have fans of all ages listening to his music, not just little 14 year old girls. Amican Idol is NOT about buying CDs. It is about America deciding who is the best Idol. Period.
America has seen a lot of performances. No one tells you how to vote. There are no rules.
For me, there are a number of performances that stand out and are memorable.

I totally DISagree! David Archuleta is getting quite boring and dull as the competition go on. We cannot deny that he has a good voice, but syesha, ramielle, michael john and the rest have good voices too, they including Archuleta just do not have the zest for life. If we are to gauge Archuleta with the existing top record selling artists of today, he does not even come close, that is why i think there is something wrong with Randy whenever he compliments Archuleta. But notice Randy's face after he gave his comment to Archuleta, he looks like he wants to puke! because he knows what he is saying is totally not true.
As for David Cook, everything about him is worth spending money for. He will sell more records than David A. whether he wins the Idol or not. David Cook is simply the best performer Idol's ever had. The others don't even come close. And I believe he will sell more records than any of them because of his ability to reach a wide audience.
I couldn't agreed with you more. David C might not have the greatest voice compare to David A, but I sure enjoy listenning to him singing and performing. Every week, I'm axious to see what rock song he's going to sing and how he's going to performce. I'm excited it already about this week. He's the only reason that keep me watching Idol this season. As for the other David, he is too predictable. Last week, on his second song just before he started, my fiance` joked that "watch, he going to sing a love song". Wouldn;t you know it, as soon as my fiance finished the sentence, Ryan announced that David A singing Elvis's "Tender Love"....LOL. OOOPS, my bad for not liking David A, cause that just stupid of me. Some people seems to thing that others are stupid simply because they don't like David A singing.

Yeah I have to agree with you on this. David A. is so predictable. He sings good but I believe it is his dad he is the most concerned about impressing. His dad was kicked out of Star Search because he was so hard to deal with, causing trouble yelling and totally making David a nervous wreck. Just like he is now. Is that what we want as an Idol? i think he is a good singer but he is getting boring and sounds the same every week. Besides if you went to dialidol.com you would see that david A. is in danger and the week brooke left ryan never said that they were officially the bottom 2 and the same for this week too.and i the website also said syesha had the highest votes that week.and therefore david A. could most likely go home next week. no matter how american idol makes it is syesha in the bottom2. i know David C isn't in danger that is why i haven't talked about him. Syesha is our only hope.
