Several of the Idol contestants really have no particular talent: Kellie Pickler can't hit her notes; Bucky Covington, though adorable, is just average; Lisa Tucker doesn't have what it takes; and Kevin Covais is cuddly but not a mega star. Ace is borderline, too. The real contenders are Mandisa, Chris, Elliott, Katherine and Paris.

I was very disappointed with last night's elimination of Mandisa. Can the American public be serious. This girl is very talented and I believe could have won the American idol. I am so disappointed that I may stop watching the show. I am starting to believe there maybe some manipulation of the votes since it does not make sense. I wish to hear some real discussion surrounding some surprise eliminations from American idol.
Get over it.. people probably figured she'd get through so voted for less "sure" competitors. It's just the way the show works..
Most people's favourites leave at some stage, i.e. I was gutted when Steve / Ashley left NZIdol, but I got over it. Sure, the winner crashed and burned, but I got over it. You will too.
