How do I send a private message?

There are three ways you can send a private message to another member on this site.

1. In the forums, find a post written by the member you want to send a message to. In the blue bar at the top of the post, click on the member's name. This will bring up that member's profile. Simply click on the "Send Private Message" link, type your message, and hit 'send'!

2. At the top of the page, click the "My Account" link. This will take you to your profile page. Underneath your username, click "Send Private Message". Remove your name from the To: box, (unless of course you want to PM yourself?!) and replace it with the username of the member you want to send a message to. Type your message, hit 'send', and voila!

3. Also at the top of the page, click the number in brackets. This takes you to your 'Inbox'. Click 'Write a new message', fill in the boxes, and click send!

PS An orange star next to a message means it hasn't been read (by you, if it's in your Inbox, or by the recipient, if it's in your 'Sent Messages' folder).

American Idle is considered an unique idea that was created and executed extensively in all new creativity. This is seen coping in many parts of the world and people have got used to just rip pff even the music beds of American Idol, If anyone is intereted In Sri lanka a very popular TV station is making millions just by copying this unique concept. if any one of the american idol people interested in getting to know these people please send me a mail

We watch Am. Idol faithfully and live in VA, know many young adults who attend VA Tech which just had the tragic killings. We are very disgusted with Simon's dismissal of Chris when he made a brief comment about the event and stated he had many friends attending the university.

Simon should apoligize for his insensitivity to the devistation of the campus and youth of America.

As a parent and one of college children I'm totally appalled at the ignorance and insensitivity of his behavior.

I don't think Chris should have left tonight. He sung so well. In my opinion someone messed up counting the votes. I think Chris should have been the next American Idol and so do alot of other people in America. You should let Chris back on the show and recheck your polls.
