This season has been so dissapointing! First they pick most of the wrong people as finalist and then the judges show strong favoritism week in and week out. That is so insulting to the other contestants, please show some professionalism (cara & paula) and stop drooling over boys that can be your son's. It makes you look desperate and childish. Matt should have gone home, is anyone listening to the vocals???? Horrible the song by Brian Adams just swallowed him up, he could not handle it at all, and then they have the nerve to bring him back? he does this every week he has met his limit. So unfair and insulting to the other contestants. Poor Anoop, he can sing but he has no chance since he is not a personal favorite of the judges, yes this has come down to favoritism, they are not even hiding it. The whole this is disgusting to me. Where is the professionalism???!!!

Last night in american idol 3/17/09, I tried to vote for my favorites but everytime I would call I would either get a lady come on saying ' I'm sorry but your call can not be forwarded' or' I'm sorry but the network is not available please call back later' I would wait awhile before calling again but I still couldn't get through. Unfortunately because of my calls not accepted my favorites are most likely in the bottom. This has happened not only last night but also last episode. Please fix this problem because it is not fair if someone gets voted off for the networks mistake.

i want to know why didnt the judges pick Jamar or Juno......none of the black guys that could sing .....Paula and Cara both said that Jamar's song was great and he never messed up yet they choose Nick and Tatiyana or whatever her name is that is a bunch of bull ....you wont choose balck people that sing black but you choose white people that sing black....its messed up we need to stop supporting shows that dont support all communites and all races.....this is a new day ...get with it idol

David Cook has an album out. This is cheating because the rules say you can't have an album. For proof go to Wikipedia and type in Axium. It says he was the singer this makes him not amateur so he should not be able to preform.

No, Danny Noriega definitely should NOT have been voted off. Everyone has their opinion. However, I think danny was booted for two reasons...ONE is that American Idol's polling system is incredibly inefficient and inaccurate and Two, mainstream is not ready for an openly gay teen star! Dumbasses! In the meantime, the voting process is completely and frustratingly flawed! The phone systems are ALWAYS busy and MANY, MANY people DO NOT HAVE ATT!!!! Who the heck is changing their cell phone provider for American Idol???? Come ON!!! Screw you ATT! If there's a flaw with the phone system AI, FIX IT!! Make it so EVERYONE gets their votes in and make it fair for the contestants and user friendly for the viewers. For Pete's Sake...why is there not a voting process online? Bravo's "Make me a super model" has one, why can't American Idol have it?

Danny Noriega should not have been voted off. I think that Americans have a really bad taste in music. Especially since that rocker chick with multiple hair colors is still on there.

I am convinced this is not about amateur talent, it is about people who have been selected from a lot of professional backgrounds. I am not going to watch anymore...is there anything in American TV that is not fixed? I could not figure out why some of the amazing talents were not recognized...and we can't help but notice that all the finalists have the same "look alike" persona. Give me a break, American Idol, we are not fooled by this, you have slid into a deep hole.

I just want to say that I TIVO every episode of American IDOL and I am extremely upset that I watched all season and the most important part of a two hour FINALE, it gets cut off before the winners are revealed. This was extremely upsetting.

I can not believe they let Jordin think she was going home. She was crying and then he said she was safe. All to get ratings. I think everybody who thought this was awful should vote for Jordin.

I just have to say how disappointed I am with Fox Network , American Idol and Simon...I cannot believe Simon rolled his eyes when Chris extended his thoughts and prayers to his friends at Virginia Tech. It was an after thought on Simons part to say something. Something should have been said when the show first aired. Simon's reaction totally disgusted my family and myself. Shame on Simon and American Idol. I think Simon owes an apology to Chris and the viewers. You can tell Chris was affected by this and I hope viewers give him another week.

Have you guys ever stopped to consider that the judges are to blame for this? I am an idol fan and have watched since season one... saying that, I saw some folks who did not make the top 24 get kicked off while this little man-girl thing sqeeked thru. They let a talentless kid go to the next level on looks alone.. maybe thinking he could improve. The judges created this monster thru their own vanity instead of letting a better singer go in.

I watch very little TV, but have been intrigued with IDOL and the young talent it promotes. However, I am seriously considering abandoning IDOL as are may of my peers. We are thoroughly disgusted with Sanjaya!
Your program is losing credibility because of this talentless, supersilious person!!!!!!! You are losing viewers~ This individual is cutting into the chances of people who CAN sing & entertain. He's taking up the oxygen and needs to be removed.
The producers of IDOL need to give the judges some overiding power for circumstances like these. I f Stern is responsible for this "vote for the worst" movement, he must be stopped!!!!!!

I am a very angry American Idol fan and I think that the show went from excellent to ridiculous now. There is no way in HELL that Sanjya is a good singer and should be in the competition. He is a joke he can't sing, he talks like a girl, he went from shy to an arrogant bastard. Just look how he talks to Simon. its like go back to Hula Dancing Sanjaya your sister should be where you are today. She is a hell of alot better to listen to and look at. I think they need to change the way America votes it should be 50% of America and 50% of the judges input. This is sad and I refuse to watch it anymore. I can't believe that Sunyaya is still on. Are you kidding me? This guys is horrible. I will not watch American Idol agian until he has been voted off! I am absolutely livid that Sanjaya has stayed AGAIN!!!!! This is the most messed up idol season I have ever watched!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't even imagine that there are that many people in the world that are tone deaf. His hair is NOT all that!!! There were injustices in previous seasons but this year takes the cake!!! I think the voting process needs to be changed. I believe that the judges or a third party needs to have a say in the voting just like 'So You Think You Can Dance'. We ALL know that this poor boy could not carry a tune in a brown paper bag. The show has lost some good singers because of this "popularity" contest. I thought this was a singing contest. If this continues, I feel not only will you lose good performers but you will also lose many viewers. I think it's time somebody step in and take over on this situation.

It is 03/08/07 & the results just came on....I am disgusted! Sabrina & Sundance should get another chance & Sanja(whatever) & Hailey should never had made it this far. American Idol will lose many viewers if they don't bring those two singers back.

American Idol is fixed! It is soooo obvious that Simon choses who stays and who goes. Why do the judges comment about re-watching the performances...why does it matter? why do the judges even have a say in their performances, now that America is suppose to be voting? Simon has plotted to kick Ace off ever since he found out Ace had an agent (and soap opera offer)...he kicked Lisa Tucker too because he found out she had appeared on Broadway in the Lion King..Simon wants "raw' talent that he can make a star on his own...Simon himself has said "one bad performance at this stage in the competition can cause you to pack your bags"...and then Kelli doesn't even get in the bottom 3? Give me a break! Just because Simon likes her. Simon already told his favs on Letterman: Chris, Kelli and Taylor...if you don't believe me that it is fixed...just wait and see how well they do....well,  we won't be watching anymore...THE JIG IS UP!...we are boycotting the show because we aren't as stupid as Simon would like us to be.

I agree with the aforementioned comments.  Chris is the best singer by far.  But time time again it shows that America has poor judgement in voting for the right person.  I am boycotting the show as well.

I, along with all my friends, tried for the 2 hours last night to vote for Chris.  The line was busy for the 2 hours.  What is the deal?  Did anyone else have this problem?  I have been an avid fan from day one, but when you can't even get through to vote, something is wrong.  I have never had this problem.  Something was wrong and Chris should be brought back.  Check the phone lines.

First of all for twoo hours straight I called in to make my vote count for my Idol ELLIOTTTTTTTTTT.

I was unable to get through which means if this continues to happen then he may cheated out of his votes, and  that makes one think hmmmmmm is this thing rigged.

Yes it does suck that Chris went home.! He was robbed, jipped , and BAMBOOZELED! however I don't think it is Simon's picks- he was obviously disgusted as were Paula and Randy.  Simon has said on several TV appearances that Chris and Taylor and Kelli were his favorites. Today he picked Chris and Taylor and Chris went home, so wrong!

I can't say I won't watch it anymore though cause I will- I have to vote for anyone but Kathereine who has done horrible the past few weeks!!

AS to whether or not it is fixed I dunno maybe so- one thing's for sure they need to fix the voting system if they want us to think it is not fixed! We -3 of us- called for the entire 2 hours and got through -on 3 different phones- very few times. AMERICA DID NOT VOTE THIS WAY!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way does anyone know how we can complain to American Idol producers directly? I want them to know how we are all pissed and think they have this system screwed up!
