Taylor is soooo cute...I love his Ray Charles/Stevie Wonder moves....he's totally fun and completely entertaining!!  Taylor, you rock baby!  You're gonna win...I can feel it!

Taylor, I'm sure you've heard it all before, but I have to say it myself:  I have never followed American Idol.  You're what brought me, and kept me, watching the show.  It's nice to see originality and genuine talent in such a commercial venue.  Not that I don't think things like AI are valuable--there's just so much hype around them.  There are only two people in this contest that are worth that much hype--you and Chris.  Chris has everything you have, but you seem to have more fun.  It's great hearing you perform, but it's even better watching you perform.  You just make people happy, and we can all use that.  I'd love to hear a full version of "A Change is Gonna Come" or anything else by Sam Cooke.  I'm in Canada, so I can't vote for you, but you're already an icon.  You broke the AI mold.  Thank you.

Hey Taylor you are one of the best performers on the idol. When are you going to use that harmonica with your singing it would be great and there is a lot of great hits that use that in there songs!!  Go Taylor you are number one sir!

Mother received company at our home and the television went off.  I was beside myself.  Caught 2 seconds of Taylor.  I missed his voting number, anybody have a heart and email me with it quickly.  Taylor you are yourself, unique, grrrrrrrrreat singing voice, original guy.  Please stay the same loving guy you are on stage, always.    The next American Idol  Taylor Hicks........

Taylor is NOT my American Idol. I do agree with the seizure comment. He looks like he had a stroke....with that lip hanging down. He is not a good singer. He is so flat on so many songs. He can only dance around like a fool singing the same up beat tempo songs for so long. When he sings  a ballad my cat gets scared and hides under the couch.

Also, I find him very conceited. Katharine is my Idol. She has Sooooooooooo much more talent than he does and will have a way better, longer career. When I listen to Taylor's interviews, he is too stuck on himself. Granted he knew how to get a crowd rocking, I don't think he should be an Idol. He is like a drunken dad at a wedding, Simon was right on about that.

Katharine, Thanks for a great season. You're classy, pretty, sweet and so talented. You have a really beautiful voice and you glow when you perform. (That was almost as bad as a Paula moment!) I can't even compare you to "Oh you will have a career like Clay Aiken cause even though he's famous now, he is not that great. You my dear are a rising star!

I have been watching the American Idol 2006 since the beginning and I have learn to appreciate your singing, you are unique.

Since when is 29 old?!  This is the only show that has EVER brought my husband and I to the couch at the same time and its only because of YOU TAYLOR!  I have always loved your voice and my husband picked you from the audition to win.  I thought america wouldn't take hold, but it's great to see they have and no question...YOU WIN!  There are no words for your talent, just the best.  When you smile, it's magic on stage!  We'll see you for many years, with many golden records and awards to come.  BTW, I'm 27 (not old)
