I noticed it too. The last long-high note in Archuleta's Imagine during his "live" performance was clean... but at the end of the show highlights it sounds completely different, singificantly more "pitchy". I played it back on my DVR twice to make sure.
Also, at the very end of Cook's first song, on the last note, he pulls away the microphone, obviously finished singing, mouth not moving, yet the note plays on...
I'm not saying that the Davids were lyp synching, although now I am convinced that:
a) show is NOT live
b) It is heavily edited
c) Americal Idol producers need to hire a better editing team.
Did any one else notice that Syesha was lip syncing durring her last performance? I thought this was a competition show? So why do they need to Lip Sync?
Check it out, it so obvious at the end of her performance!!!!
American Idol is a trashy reality show with no redeeming value. Of course things like lip-syncing will occur.
