I'm a huge Bon Jovi fan and let me tell ya when I heard Chris was singing Bon Jovi instantly I thought, I'm not gonna like it well I was WRONG!!! I LOVED IT!!!

I think he's just awesome and shows the variety of music he can sing...I am also a huge Bon Jovi fan! Go Chris!!!

Taylor is by far the most original artist. He's not copying anyone. He just is.

I hope taylor squeezes out his gritzy,blusy,emotionally wrenching style on stage.

 All the comments from the judges in earlier years has been for the contestants to focus on "their" style instead of all over the board.

i picked taylor bfrom the start. he's off the wall . very unique.

To enjoy Gideon and Elliot you must close your eyes. With Ace you must keep them open, especially with that song. Chris performed very well but my favorite is still Taylor. I feel bad for David - he is a real cutie - he should get another chance to wow us with a Frank Sinatra song. Bucky is so likeable, a little like Kellie Pickler. So who is going home? Bobby and unfortunately Will, Patrick or Sway.

I totally agree with the judges about Elliot Yamin!  Dat boy is good!  He was number 1 tonight, #2 for me was a tie between Taylor & Ace, #3 Chris, then it's Patrick and Sway.  Great job tonight guys!

Come on American public I am going to be so disappointed if you don't keep Taylor Hicks in this competition.  This is a real artist...Ace is a top 10 for the pop music world but I would pay money to watch this guy sing.   If he doesn't make the American Idol competion I hope some top producer gets ahold of him and tours him internationally.  I would not get tired of watching him.  I would buy a ticket.  This guy is such a mesmorizing real talent one of the unique few who will stand out.  Vote Taylor Hicks.

I think that Kevin Covais was absoloutly WONDERFUL! He really showed some effort. But then there are so many more that I like,such as:Ace Young,Bucky Covington,Chris Daughtry,and Taylor Hicks was o.k. I wasn't much of a fan of him even though Taylor is actually my name too. But I actually thought pretty much all of the contestants were wonderful, and they sang their hearts out for this moment.

My votes are for Taylor and Chris. I hope Taylor wins. But I think both Taylor and Chris will be pick up by somebody if they don't win. My husband works with Chris and I told him that Chris is not coming back to work ever again because he's going to be famous. Good luck to Taylor and Chris and I can't wait to buy their first cd's. I also think that Gedeon is good and Also Ace.

ACE & TAYLOR WERE THE BEST

My husband and I are in our 50's.......we think Taylor has the most original and unique talent ... ....he appeals to all ages.   It is about time that someone new and fresh came along.  He is an American Idol.

A real toss up between Ace and Chris, both have all it takes to make a star, hot, sexy, and both can sing to-boot,,,,one or the other i tell u,,Yes i as well agree Taylor has it as well, but like i said, preferably Ace or Chirs

Elliott is truly a solid vocalist and he is one of the best ever crossing that stage. He is so unassuming. I am rooting for him because America can get so hung up in the look and SOMETIMES over look the talent. Well not in the case of the female vocalist "Becky", the judges solely pulled her through becasue of her looks DEFINATELY NOT her talent. ANYWAY! Ace , Taylor, Chris, Patrick, Sway & Bucky are the six I think should be in the finals.

I LOVE Taylor, but let's be real people, he isn't embodying a new genre of music. It's called "the blues", and it's actually a pretty old genre. But he does do it justice.

Also, I love Chris. He is so hot and the boy can sayng!!

Lastly, Elliot. That boy can also sayng. I wouldn't say he was cute like Taylor or Chris, but he has the sex appeal that all strong, silent types have.

I would be happy with Taylor, Chris or Elliot as the next American Idol. I think the girls are wonderful too, particularly Paris and Mandisa, but I think its gonna be a male Idol this season.

Ace has got it all! Enough said.

i'm not sure how to post to an american idol, but i want chris to win i also want to know if he lived on parris bridge rd in boiling springs south carolina when he was about 10 and rode bus 7 with about 4 girls in the morning!!!  if so we are all pulling for you and wish you well, either way you still have my vote.

Great group of guys this year, Taylor is an awesome performer, however, Ace is so easy on the eyes, even for us middle age women!!  Not to mention, Ace, too, is a great perfomer!

EVERYONE HAS TO VOTE!  Remember last season when we all thought Bo was a sure thing.  We all assumed he would win and didn't vote.  Granted Carrie is okay and Mr. Bice is doing just fine.  But don't get let this one slip through the cracks, he deserves this so much PLUS he needs a new couch!  The judges keep saying they want originality and uniqueness - I think he's got that covered. GO TAYLOR.

I would love to see Taylor Hicks sing a Joe Cocker song! I thought they would say Chris' version of Bon Jovi wasn't original enough (althought great), but they didn't which was good. I think Taylor could be Joe Cocker with your eyes closed! I'm so glad the internet public likes him. It just goes to show Simon doesn't know everything! Kevin has the underdog thing going, but I don't think he is the Idol package, God love him. But this has to be great for his self-esteem! Ace will have no problems advancing. I think Patrick was great! Gideon, Sway and Chris, too. Sorry Bobby and David, I think you two should go home.

I think Bucky will be the first to go.  I could hardly understand him when he spoke and do not like his looks or his voice.  I enjoyed the performances of the others - yes Bobby and David, too - and can't think who the second bump will be except that, as much as I like him, I think Kevin is going also.  So I see Bucky and Kevin gone tonight and hope they take BRENNA with them.  She is the worst.  I love Taylor, Ace and Elliot and see the competition being among these 3 young men.

Taylor was the only performer that made me smile.  I love his passion and the pleasure he clearly derives from music.  It's in his soul.  I luv him.

i think elliot is a very natural and easy going laid back kinda natural singer....he has a very outstanding voice and he just looks so at ease in his performances...he's a winner.....spectacular voice and not too full of over confident...if he was that good under the nervous conditions of his first big performance lord help us when he ease's up a little and really brings it...cause i really believe he's gonna blow it up!!!!

Elliot you got it hands down.....Your a natural let up on the nerves and bring it...cause we believe you got it to bring.....Your gonna have noooo problem...your going to the top....

Elliott's got a good chance he'll make it to the top...He has a natural voice nice song choices...Makes you wanna hear more cause i think he's holdin back a little and when the time is right he's gonna blow us all away.....
