Okay I agree he's gorgeous he has the best voice I've seen in a long time jason is very unique in so many ways its just that so many ppl don't get it don't be surprised if he's the one playing in sold out arenas all over the world as his cd hits number 1 !!!!!!!! Dh 4 life!!!!!!!!

In response to the several people who think Jason is "so talented," I have to wonder if there's been a mistake. Everyone is titled to their own opinion, but the fact that there are people out there that think he's a good singer makes me think they need to get their ears/TV checked out. Jason is simply not performing as well as the others. At first I thought he was different and unique in a good way, but to be successful in the competition he needs to be improving, NOT getting worse. Jason was horrible tonight. So horrible that Paula was struggling to saying something positive. Lately, the only good thing she can come up with to say is that he's unique and has found his niche. Hasn't she been saying that the past few weeks? Not a good sign if Paula can't keep a straight face when complimenting as bad of a singer as Jason. The combination of singing horribly, forgetting lyrics, and looking as creepy as Jason looked tonight will surely send him home tomorrow.
Jason is the reason i watch american idol, i wish i could meet him, if he could bottle all that charm and sell it he'd be a millionaire ... love you Jason.. ur in my prayers

No talent what so ever. He shouldnt even have made it through hollywood. All of his perfomances are the same, he cant belt a note at all.. hes horrible. Completely and utterly obtrusive. He can thank all the little girls for keeping him in the competition thus far and if hes not the one to go this week.. Than america just doesnt know talent.
Me too. When he leaves, I won't watch it anymore. It is boring ,the contestants. Hope Jason will sing House of the Rising sun and Alway on my mind, this week. Love you Jason.

When I think of an Idol...an American Idol...I want it to be someone that relates to everyone with love and music...not just talent, that is why we get to use the popular..."VOTE", It is wrong..just BAD to slam other contestants...so without using names, I will say...I'm so glad that Jason is who he is, "talented..,humble, likeble, lovable and a free spirit with an awesome voice"...take the time to really listen...my girlfriend & me enjoy listening to him and will buy ALL his stuff on CD. He is very Cool...not pretentious or prideful, and last week he was sick..."still he was professional & polite" not needing to point out the fact of being ill....He is truly a person to admire and stand behind as an American Idol...Not to mention...my girfriend thinks he is HOT!...I would personally like to meet him someday! Can't say that about the others, maybe Brooke...she seems cool. But we love his sound..like Paula says...he is so very unique..recogniable, unlike the oatmeal sounds of similarity. Dude Jason Castro is tight!!! Yes...a truely refreshing change! Looking forward to listening, watching & Voting!!! Love you, JC!! God Bless! We need more like you!
whn i think of american idol i think of plp who can SING well and not having some1 on stage for his LOOKS, grow up plp plz. Even if his cd is good it doesnt matter,its hw u perform on american idol and prove to the world or even just america y he is good. its a big embarrassment to keep seeing him surviving every week, tis just show hw bad u plp r at voting for the best. give plp who really deserve to sing a chance. not some bob marley wanna b, beauty contest winner. jason i'm sorry i think bcoz of plp voting 4 u, u don hav choice hw many time u put on a bad show but still they don get it, i know tht deep down tht u know that ur not in the same league as any1 up thr but i don blame u coz like i said u don hav a choice, its ok keep up the good work and continue to do wat u do best is (SUCK)

Jason's music is all Jason. He is not trying to be anything other than who he is and quite frankly, that is refreshing. I think it depends on what kind of music fan your are. If you research his choices of songs you realize the depth that he brings to this contest. He is at the beginning of his career and has natural talent that is continuing to develop. He is the purest and least commercialized contestent of the remaining 5.
Go back and look at D.A. star search performances - he is already molded into I don't know what...I think he's lost his energy and has been molded into something so very predictable. I would not buy his CD. I would buy all of Jason's.
He has my vote.

I'm a big, big fan of his genre and moreso his soothing voice. Can't wait for his album which I could listen all day long. "Giving you my heart and soul..." as he sung..very good rendition and I'm so falling in love. Super hotty , love his modest getto.
Jason Castro is the best contestant in the show [now that Michael Johns is gone]. Jason has a very unique personality, is talented in singing and is a very charming and humble guy. He needs to be at least in the top 3 or top 2.
This is the worst male contestant on the show. His voice isn't all that great, it's way too soft. He chooses songs that he knows his voice can take and plays it safe, to me that's being a coward. I also despise the facial expressions he makes when he "tries" to hit soft-high notes. I would like to see him sing some songs that don't deal with a soft nature and then everybody would see the limits of his voice. Michael John is in front of him as the 2nd worst but Michael has a MUCH better overall voice than Jason. Jason has only one type of genre he can conform too but Michael can conform to at least 2 or more.
You know, you can't judge a contestant by the FACIAL EXPRESSIONS they make. And he sings soft music, thats how his voice is..maybe he SHOULD be singing soft music. Last time i checked, the show wasnt called "America's Most Powerful Voice." I don't believe that American Idol is a contest of who can take their voice to the limit, rather than it is a contest of who can use their voice well. His voice is soft, he sings soft music, let him be. I bet if you were on American Idol and you had a soft voice, I HIGHLY DOUBT youd sing powerful songs.
