I am still in shock over the results tonite. I must say that I am greatful for being able to hear Adam this season. But, the one thing that I will state is that I will never watch another season of American Idol again. This has to be on of the worst idols to be picked since Taylor Hicks. Kris is going to be another dust in the wind. We will never hear anything worth purchasing from someone that cannot even hold a tune. I am in disbelief of what I saw tonite. Oh well lets hope that the rest of the free world that knew that Adam should have won will also boycott any other seasons of this bs show.

Thats all Adam is....A SHOW....He's all smoke screens and hype....There's no depth .... nothing genuine ..... and I know ive said this before in countless blogs... but the man CANNOT SING IN KEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am an adam fan too but...saying that kris allen "cannot even carry a tune" is way off base. Have you ever sung before? Are you tone deaf?
Kris Allen AND Adam Lambert both had the best ears for music and pitch on the show this season. Everyone else was pitchy, sang under the pitch or just a little over it. Kris Allen has a fantastic ear and has a solid voice. It may not be anything that will stand out in the long run but he's definitely talented. If you know anything about music, you have to admit that, even if you dont like his style and prefer Adam over him.
I must say though that Adam is wonderful as well
I might be done with Idol.
No one put on the show that Adam Lambert did.

I an so disgusted with the results. Adam was CLEARLY a superior vocalist and performer, Chris actually SAID that Adam deserved to win more than he did. I will NEVER watch Idol again. I am as shocked and disappointed as you are. I'll even add "appalled" to that list! Adam, if you ever read this, you ROCK dude, and you were cheated of the title and recognition you deserve. Chris is good, but in my opinion, you are GREAT! I think America loves an underdog, but at the expense of the truly gifted? Puh-LEEZ!
I'm sure there's a Broadway stage somewhere waiting for Adam and his FLASHY showmanship!

My friend and I are from Australia and we are devastated that our favourite performer has not won the title. Nothing against Kris, but clearly Adam has outshone everyone this year. What makes a great entertainer is the ability to sing, connect with and audience, excite an audience, leave them breathless and wanting more and at the end of the day make them payout big bucks to see them live and buy their cds. No other person in the last 8 years that we've been watching idol has had us so excited each week I really don't know how we will watch the show again after Adam. We know that Adam will be more than fine and we will be following his career, buying his cds and hopefully if he comes to Australia , see him live. Please come to Australia Adam!!!!! We love you downunder!!!
