45 million votes were cast last night which is what, a 50% increase on what it has been normally? That's quite significant and shouldn't leave any contestant feeling too comfortable.

I believe Jason did this on purpose to save Syesha. They have a thing going on. Am I the only one that noticed the hand holding....how she reacted to the fan kissing Jason on the cheek, etc. you dont go from..." awesome" to " Dude, whats up?" as if you have no talent at all. I bet my theory is right. he moved aside for Syesha.

Don't know what is going on with Idol this year, Brooke and Jason should have gone home weeks ago. Carly and the Australian hunk should still be there. Syesha is always at the bottom ... WHY? She has a flawless voice.
Ultimately David will win so I guess it doesn't really matter who the rest are... but still it would be cool to have had the two others that SHOULD have been there, still there...
Brooke just about made me throw up with all her drama last night... get over it. Grateful? She was right about that, she should have been grateful long ago, she is way too self indulgent for me!
Normally I rip peoples stupididty apart on here for sport and it makes me feel more like a man, or maybe it was because my mother misstreated me as a young child… hell whatever psych bull you wanna use, the fact of the matter is I can't beat on you! You are mainly correct.
Syesha does not have a 'flawless voice' but she does have a very nice voice, Brooke was Brooke… annoying and sickly sweet like too much sugar spilled in your morning coffee, you can drink it if you have to, hell if forced to drink it you might even get a taste for it at times... but it's still sickly sweet and will kill you one day.
Carly and Michael were better than Brooke, Syesha and Jason, unfortunately it's not a contest based on talent. Ultimately that's what will knock Mr. Cook out of the winners circle.
David ARCHULETA won't be going home because he has the most amazing voice ever to grace the AI stage. I am a 30 year old female singer not a tween. I love him and so do my peers. IF he is the best, he will win.... and he will.

First, Paula stays. Ratings would suffer (poll results already published) and the networks don't care what she is on, so long as she is lucid and can read her cards. Preferably in the correct order, but if not, they will cover for her.
In case you haven't noticed, she is the only woman on staff and onstage.
America and Idol are attached, like it or not. There's been a merger, and Paula, regarding the feminine side of the bonding, you are it.
Unless Paula has a 'Seven Year Itch' in some other career direction, the marraige goes on.
And if you think some exec could just fire her, and replace her just like that, well, think again - fire her for doing what in all likelihood the other judges are doing too? Can you spell 'messy divorce'?

Seeeee: It isn't clear of the bottom 2 tonight. Wikipedia, which has the bottom 3 chart, only told the person eliminated, not the bottom 2, because they know that wasn't the bottom 2.
And true, are they afraid to put Jason in the bottom 2 for some reason? He's SOOOOOOO overrated. He neeeeeds to go next week. big time
