Love me tender being a 'phenomenal" song is subjective, his pitch is normally excellent, but he did actually falter at the end of the song a bit. He tried to push his range a bit too far, little DA has great pitch but his range is limited.

D. Cook has had many memorable songs actually. He has proven himself to have extreamly good pitch and range, if you were to compare the two singers and remove popularity from the equation you would find they are both very similar in technical merit. David A is stronger pitch while David C is stronger Range.

What you and most people here comment on is your subjective tastes in music, nothing more. Nobody has a nail in anyones coffin except for Jason Castro whom placed his on nail in his own coffin. All three singers are very capable of pulling out exceptional performances and it only takes some bad songs to kill any of the contestants.

Syesha is on a roll and picking up steam
David A. is learning as he goes and I have seen considerable attention to his movement, eye contact and comfort level (Although he made very wise music choices last night I think he may still mess up on song selection to match his style of singing)
And David Cook has shown some weakness this week which is a real bad time to do it.
Jason… There is always modeling?
