There are so many people out there that just don't know good singing when they hear it. Melinda was consistant each week throughout the competition, thats the signs of a true performer. So what, if she singed background with some famous singers, she not that professional, no one has ever heard of her until now. She has just as much rights to be on the show as anyone else.
