For this season, just like last season, I think the one who will win is not the one that's deserving. Yes, Melinda is the most deserving winner. But she should excel in many genres. She shouldn't stick with her "comfort zone" -the gospel and r&B- just to play safe. Was Taylor Hicks the most deserving last year? Nope. Chris Daughtry was. But Chris could only muster and I must say excel too in his comfort zone- "rock"

Now, to objectively pick who'll win this time around, i think it will be either Jordin or Bake. Jordin excelled in country and adult contemporaries like "Inspirationals". which are not her forte. She's a pop girl! but she flunked Latin lol. Ok ok C- for the soulful Latin hehe.

And Blake, he excel in remixes and oldies remakes for pop consumption! His forte is of course beatbox and dance, which btw he also excel in.
