Well, it's official. American doesn't know who the real talent is! Tonight, Melinda was booted off and America has to decide between a 17 year old teeny bopper and a 20 plus wanna be Sting/Sir Mix Alot. Please, it's obvious to all the judges that the real American Idol was Melinda Doolittle. Simon offered his commiserations and the fact is that she'll be signed by a company before the night is over should she decide to accept the offer. She'll definitely outsell the other two and I can't wait to see her album. In all fairness the other two will make a nice sound, but they won't be the pro that the judges thought Melinda was. It's a shame--but when one door closes another, and another will open!
