I think Melinda is an AWESOME singer and to me she is much more inspiring than Lakeisha/KiKi. I like how she takes criticism and listens to what they say. She has a wide range and not stuck in the LOUD AND BORDERING, IF NOT ACTUALLY, YELLING as the other. As for her looks, she actually is getting more there and her stage presence has improved. She really has pulled it off, and her Rocker experience proved it.

Melinda, I bought an Idol CD only once and that was for a gift. Yours is the first one I am anxiously waiting to hit the stores. Your only real competition is Jordin and that's only because she's got 3/4 of your singing talent (will have it all the way as she matures), the stage presence needed, and she's like you - humble. Blake may get a lot of votes. I think the fourth will finally phase out because she's not a class act - YOU are a class act!

And actually, I'm only watching this season of American Idol - my first all the way through - because you and Jordin have grabbed my entire family's attention and we tune in and call in every week for you two.
