You mean aside from his lack of vocal range? Or the fact that there is no dynamics in his voice? Or are we ignoring his poor intonation completely? His projection is weak, his tone is flat and he sounds like he is marking instead of singing.

Carly is by far the most flexible vocalist and sings with remarkable precision. I would love to see what the people look like that say she's nasty. I think she is beautiful.The others tend to sound much the same on every song.
I am at the end of my rope with Simon...there is not a word to describe his self-absorbed lack of compassion. He is beyond offensive. And at this point I would rather not watch the show than continue to be offended as well. Maybe Carly Smithson doesn’t have the most flattering taste in clothing but, as he has said time and again while insulting Paula for saying how great the contestants look…..this is a singing competition! Simon…please heed your own advice and have a talk with your stylist and maybe your hairdresser while you’re at it. Unless maybe, you are such an unlikable person that they take pleasure in making you look like a box headed fool in feminine collarless button-up shirts. And while I am on the subject of feminine, at least you could wear a training bra with those man boobs! Oh…maybe the nipples just protrude due to your constant nervous self pleasure that you continue to torture us with.

:-/ and you know her voice is amazing & if she wasnt eliminated.. she could have possibly won. and then maybe her album wouldnt have flopped .. but shes here now & i truly think she will last longer!! She is one of the strongest performers. I hope she makes it further.

Thats the biggest bullcrap that the best singer in the whole group be in the bottom 3 this week! It is becoming at this point what it has become every year at this point. A popularity contest. David is a cute kid but does not hold a candle to Carly. I was sad to see Amanda go tonight and thought Kristie should have gone. I do think that K has a great vocal and will some day be a great country hit artist. Carly however, is the whole package. Actually, she's already done a Celine song on the show. "Drove All Night" Sang it two weeks ago, I think. Sure it wasn't a Celine original, but she made it famous to many who'd not heard Orbison's version, etc.
..and she sings it better than celine (sorry celine)
