Who will be first to go? Who is about to be sent home knowing that they were the least liked Top 12 contestant on American Idol in 2010? The girls have been the best so far this season but have the guys all done enough to stick around for another week.
The judges save is back for 2010. Up until the Top 5, a contestant can be saved if the decision by the judges is unanimous. Don't be thinking it will be used tonight.

The Idolblog polls were 100% correct with the bottom 3 this week.
The infamous question. Who is going home this week? Let's take a look at the round up of various polls.
I'm not sure what's happening with Dial Idol this year but their numbers look a little thin. By their figures, Lee Dewyze is the only contestant who is looking safe. Their bottom three however are Aaron Kelly, Paige Miles with Andrew Garcia at the bottom
Rickey has the bottom three listed as Tim Urban and Lacey Brown with Katie Stevens taking the bottom spot.
Here on Idolblog, you've written off Lacey Brown as the one going home and will be joined by Katie Stevens and Tim Urban in the bottom three.
Rickey had Siobhan Magnus as the favourite with 43% of the vote while she had 39% here on Idolblog. Crystal Bowersox took 21% and 23% and then Lee Dewyze had 9% on both sites.
Tonight we play tribute to one of the biggest rock bands in the history of music.
The Rolling Stones
It's going to be a massive show. 450 screaming fans are in the audience so the stage is set for the competition proper to begin.
Let's get into it.
Here is the voting information.
Michael LyncheJudges comments:
Simon: You've definitely got your confidence up after last week but I thought your performance, particularly your dancing, was a little corny.
Kara: First night. Big stage. You have to fill up the stage. You delivered the stones and were hot on stage.
Randy: I wasn't so crazy about the arrangement but you slayed it. Way to start the show dawg
Ellen: What's not to love about that. That's the way to start the night.
My thoughts: That was a pretty hot way to open the show.
Didi BenamiJudges comments:
Simon: You're beginning to show us who you are as an artist. Very good choice of song. Solid but not brilliant performance. I think you can still do better than that.
Kara: I loved the intensity you attacked the lyrics with. You're moving more towards who you are as an artist.
Randy: I think for the first time in weeks, that was your best performance.
Ellen: I was proud you got back into the song and loved how you turned the word fire into two syllables
My thoughts: I actually really liked that. Definitely my favorite performance of hers.
Casey JamesJudges comments:
Simon: That was like an audition performance for me. You didn't do something incredible on that stage and you need to start using it as a platform and be a star.
Kara: I thought previously that you were trying to be a rock star. Tonight you were a rock star.
Randy: You're back to the Casey that I love.
Ellen: I thought it was fantastic
My thoughts: Casey bores me. He can sing ok and can play a reasonable guitar but his performance just has nothing to draw me in. Perhaps I'm just the wrong demographic.
Lacey BrownJudges comments:
Simon: You perform like an actress. It's very thought through. I think you need to stop overthinking. Nothing wrong with the vocal though.
Kara: It was 50/50 for me. there were definitely some issues with the vocals. I think you could have put more into it.
Randy: It wasn't a wow moment but you held it together and it was the most interesting song of the night so far.
Ellen: It was a tiny bit sleepy for me but I'm a fan of yours.
My thoughts: It was a little pitchy but it sounded like it could be a radio single.
Andrew GarciaJudges comments:
Simon: Something didn't quite connect with the song. I genuinely hope you survive another week.
Kara: I wanted to feel what you were talking about so it was the connection I was missing.
Randy: I love you but it was just pitchy everywhere.
Ellen: I think that was your best performance yet but what do I know.
My thoughts: This is another step backwards from Andrew. The start of the song sounded like he couldn't hear the beat. Pretty disappointing.
Katie StevensJudges comments:
Simon: This is the only week where you've chosen a really strong song but I didn't like the second half of the arrangement.
Kara: It's never technically perfect with you. Definitely better than last week.
Randy: I thought it was a very strong performance
Ellen: I thought it started a little pitchy but once you got into it it was great. Good choice of song.
My thoughts: Despite this being an older sounding song, it's still boring. Just because it's an old song doesn't mean you can't inject some youthful energy into it.
Tim UrbanJudges comments:
Simon: I have to applaud you too but it's quite a boring song anyway but it didn't work. Most Rolling Stones fans would have turned their televisions off after that. I think that was a crazy decision.
Kara: I've got to applaud you for doing something incredibly different with the song.
Randy: I didn't get that man. I didn't really like the reggae version. I didn't understand it.
Ellen: I felt like I was at a resort. You sounded great but you didn't wow us.
My thoughts: Again, boring. What was he thinking? Oh.. he could never be the Rolling Stones so he tried to do something different. Did it work? No.
Siobhan MagnusJudges comments:
Simon: I think it was the stand out performance tonight. Now I can see the development from those middle shows. There will be a lot of people who will love that but there will be a lot of people who would hate it.
Kara: I'm having flash backs of Adam Lambert. Most interesting.
Randy: Bringing the drama to season 9. That was hot.
Ellen: I love th
e way you look. I love the way you sound.
My thoughts: Siobhan is amazing. She starts off so subtly and then by the end she is rocking it. Definitely the performance of the night so far.
Lee DewyzeJudges comments:
Simon: Your personality doesn't shine. You have an incredibly good voice and I pray that you'll be back next week to give us a moment on this stage. I feel that you think people are better than you.
Kara: Every week you're getting better. We should celebrate your tremendous growth.
Randy: I thought that was one of your better performances
Ellen: I was expecting more from you. It was like a hospital gown. It didn't quite come together.
My thoughts: Boring. Lee has such a long way to go if you wants to be a memorable performer. That was just dull.
Paige MilesJudges comments:
Simon: Taking into account the fact that you had laryngitis this week, that was great. There were moments where we heard the big voice we loved in Hollywood.
Kara: For someone who has had issues with your voice this week, you hit some big notes. I think Paige is back.
Randy: You did alright with that. I wish it had more energy but I liked it.
Ellen: You have such great presence on stage.
My thoughts: Definitely better than she has been in the past but it was still a little shaky in parts vocally.
Aaron KellyJudges comments:
Simon: I did fear for you this week but actually you absolutely chose the right song. You sang it within the limit of your rang and it was believable.
Kara: When you connect with the feeling of the song it's really powerful
Randy: Your mum was absolutely right. You were born to sing. The tender moments were like Justin Timberlake. I thought it was hot.
Ellen: I thought that was such a great song choice for you and next to Siobhan it was the best tonight.
My thoughts: It wasn't massive but it was sung well.
Crystal Bowersox
You Can't Always Get What You Want
Judges comments:
Simon: You came out tonight the 100% clear favorite but this is the first time I think you've been beaten by someone.
Kara: You loosened up tonight. It's so easy to watch.
Randy: I always look forward to you. It wasn't your best performance though.
Ellen: you are so much fun to watch on stage. You've got the singing though so have fun on stage.
My thoughts: Love Crystal. She's awesome. Definitely another brilliant performance from her.
Bottom three this week? Andrew Garcia, Katie Stevens and Tim Urban. Somehow I suspect it will be Lacey Brown in there somewhere though.
Catch you tomorrow for the results and performances by
David Cook and
Ke$ha
I won't be watching the show anymore now... the only artist whos music I would buy was sent home. Bye Lilly. Hope you get a record contract I just love your interpretation of the songs I heard and will definately buy music of yours.
Peace

This is it folks. Tonight we get to find out who will be in the Top 12 for the 2010 season of American Idol.
It's a tight race at the bottom for the girls with Paige Miles, Katelyn Epperly, Lilly Scott and Lacey Brown all don't make the 10% mark, all being close together on 3%.
As long as Paige Miles goes home, it looks like most people will be happy.
Despite his big performance last night, Todrick Hall just doesn't have the votes in our poll. Both he and Aaron Kelly take out the bottom two spots while Tim Urban is the only other male not making it passed the 10% line.
Todrick Hall really is the guy you don't want in the Top 12 either.
Results are next people!
And that's what happens when the change the time on you. Was busy entertaining my son with some balloons when I realized it was Idol time.
Missed Lee's performance but will get the rest!

Alex LambertJudges comments:
Simon: You need to get yourself somewhere else mentally. We haven't seen you relax. Think about Randy in a bikini.trouble t
Kara: The only thing standing in front of you from winning is you. We need vulnerability from you. Be you and let go.
Randy: That was a good song choice for you. I wasn't jumping up and down though. Maybe a little too slow for you
Ellen: You're becoming a mushy banana. You're ripening so fast. You consistently get better and better and better.
My thoughts: Was ok. Nothing to write home about though. Really.
Tim UrbanJudges comments:
Simon: I kinda feel responsible for how good you were tonight. Very smart with that song. Not the best version but the best performance you've given so far on American Idol
Kara: I thought you were going home a couple of weeks ago but now I think you're near the top of the boys.
Randy: You walked in some pretty big shoes and I thought you did a pretty good job.
Ellen: *Races to the stage and hugs him*
My thoughts: I really liked that. Definitely the best performance he's given so far. Pretty lucky considering he was the pick to go in the first week of the finals.
Andrew GarciaJudges comments:
Simon: It was a little bit desperate, I thought. You're going backwards at the moment though.
Kara: You peaked so early in the competition and now you're fighting with it. I was disappointed. It just wasn't great but I wanted it to be.
Randy: Very interesting song choice. It didn't quite work for me and it was a little pitchy. You made it feel like it had three notes.
Ellen: I think the genie came out of the bottle a little too late but I think people will like that.
My thoughts: Oh how the mighty are fallen. Disappointing. Tragic even. What has happened to Andrew's star?
Casey JamesJudges comments:
Simon:
Kara:
Randy: That was a little bit safe for me.
Ellen:
My thoughts: That bored me to death!
Aaron KellyJudges comments:
Simon: It's a beautiful song and the right type of song for you. It wasn't a great vocal.
Kara: I love you but how can you feel a connection with the song when you're only sixteen.
Randy: When you hit your power zone in the middle I was like This Boy Can Sing
Ellen: The way you carry yourself is real. You sound older than you are but I thought that song was a little bit big for you.
My thoughts: Definitely his kinda song but it, again, bored me until he got to the big moment at the end of the song.
Todrick HallJudges comments:
Simon: I would say it was good in parts. I think tonight you told us you're a broadway singer and I see you as that more than a recording artist.
Kara: You can't listen to that and say it wasn't good singing.
Randy: Todrick is back. You just proved you can sing. That was one of the best vocals I've heard by a man this season.
Ellen: You're a brave young man. You did a good job.
My thoughts: Nice to have something with a bit of life in it tonight. Performance of the night so far IMHO.
Michael LyncheJudges comments:
Simon: This was so needed tonight. It was all a little boring at the start of the show and then you came out with not only the best performance of the night but of all the performance shows so far.
Kara: I have never cried after a performance and as a woman who doesn't have a child, I could relate.
Randy: That was hot!
Ellen: One of my favorite songs. Wow. This show just began. You're the one to beat now.
My thoughts: I didn't really like it if I'm being completely honest but that's because it was just another slow song. However, I get what he was trying to do and obviously he connected with the audience he was aiming at.
Bottom two this week for me would Andrew Garcia and Adam Lambert
Tomorrow night, the Top 12 are revealed
I feel that Lilly Scott is the most incredible, original, talented artist to EVER grace American Idol's stage. She can do whatever song she wants to do and she will bring originality to it and hit every single note with ease. She has a uniqueness that makes me want to see more of her and I look forward to seeing her every week. If she goes, America will miss out on a true artist; she really knows who she is. I just love her; do whatever song you want Lilly I want to hear it!
