ayla's audition town was boston; home town is wrentham, massachusetts; age is 17. The rest Ill leave for some digging. I live in norfolk, massachusetts, one town over from ayla and i go to nobles and greenough were we attended school together.

My wife and I (she's a psychiatrist and I'm an attorney) were disappointed and shocked that Ayla was eliminated.  She clearly deserved a spot in the top 12 - as did Gedeon (another shocker).  Our theory on Ayla's fate: sometimes people resent it when someone comes from a good family and excels in so many ways.  It makes them feel bad about themselves, whereas they will pull for someone they perceive as "worse off."  Something like: "Ayla already has a good life, so why give her more success?"  Small thinking.  Ayla, don't give up the singing career. We believe you're a real "triple threat" (or more) - singing, modeling and acting.  We expect to see great things from you. 

Ayla has 1 sister, her mom is Gail Huff, and her fsther is Scott Brown.
