Here we are America! The final moments of waiting before the 8th American Idol is crowned.
It's been a season of high expectation that Adam Lambert would take out the title and coming into tonight's Grand Finale, nothing much has changed.
However, the polls are pretty close. Idolblog has it 52% - 48% going Adams way. Dial Idol has it going Kris Allen's way but the margin is pretty skinny. Rickey has it going to Adam by 56%-44%.
There does seem to be a little bit of committment to Kris taking the title though. He has kinda snuck up on the finale and if it does end up with him winning then it shouldn't be too much of a surprise. Adam does seem to polarize people. You either love him or you don't.
Last night, Ryan warned everyone that if you're not going to watch the finale live then you'll want to extend your DVR as they're expecting to go over time.
It's going to be a massive show. May the best man win!

having been through many of the last eight seasons and not agreeing on a few, this takes the cake. never, will i watch american idol again. this was totally fixed by the producers. the talent, vocally and musically, is not comparable at all. do not insult me by saying that "america" chose the winner. i cannot believe they would be so ignorant. you have lost one viewer and i'm sure it does not matter. kris may have mediocre talent but that is it. how dissrespectful for those of us who are professional and choose talent for a living!
