After last week's American Idol judges same it's a night of deja vu as the Top 7 get to perform all over again.
Tonight, the contestants will get two shots at winning your vote with two songs.
Here's how it went down:
Song Choice: Rolling in the Deep
My thoughts: A beautiful start to the show and start to the song. A little pitchy in places though.
Randy Jackson: It wasn't perfect but it was close to it
Steven Tyler: You finally came out of your shell. I can't judge it cause it was perfect.
Jennifer Lopez: You finally did it and felt every word of that
Song Choice: Bad Romance
My Thoughts: I think that Colton could very much be the one to watch.
Randy Jackson: I don't think this was your best performance but I loved it. It's like we're at a Colton Dixon show.
Jennifer Lopez: It was areally good performance
Steven Tyler: You got to get low to get high. Keep taking chances and risks and doing what you do.
Song choice: No one
My thoughts: I think Jimmy is right. For what ever reason, Elise is just sitting in the middle. She doesn't inspire people to vote because there are people who are better and people who are worse.
Jennifer Lopez: I got my first goosies of the night right there. When you smile when you sing, your eyes come alive.
Steven Tyler: I was wishing for a better chorus. It was delicious though.
Randy Jackson: This is a great song and you sang it great. You sang with the melody for a change. It was a great lesson in restraint for you. I thought it was great.
Song choice: U Got it Bad
My thoughts: Fail. This reminds me of a metal version of Rolling in the Deep I heard recently at a bar. Some songs just weren't meant to be messed with.
Steven Tyler: I feel like a chump up here. With you we never know what we're going to get.
Jennifer Lopez: That was so sexy. That was great. I love when you show that side of you. A great singer can sing any song.
Randy Jackson: I feel like we have a true artist on the stage this year. Every time you come up on the stage you try to be original.
Song choice: Fallin'
My thoughts: I am so sick of this song. It was a reasonable performance but singing it after last week just seems desperate to me
Steven Tyler: With a voice like yours you were right to sound angry with the song
Jennifer Lopez: The way you play with songs is insane, like you're juggling balls. You did a great job.
Randy Jackson: Your talent is so other-worldy to me. I don't even know if you realiise how good you are.
Song choice: Born this Way
My thoughts: It seems weird to me hearing these versions of recent songs. It was ok but I wasn't moved to vote.
Jennifer Lopez: There is not a more perfect song for you.
Steven Tyler: I am so glad you were born that way. You are giving all the other girls in this competition a run for their money.
Randy Jackson: You are so talented. You are so beyond ready to me.
Song choice: I Believe
My thoughts: Loved it. Joshua can so sing.
Randy Jackson: I think you're one of the truly gifted performers we've ever seen on American Idol.
Jennifer Lopez: You leave it all on the stage every time you come out here. It's amazing to watch. I feel blessed that you're in this competition and that we get to watch you.
Steven Tyler: You could sing the phone book. You're just so good that there's nothing to say any more.
Round 2: Songs from Soul Train
Song Choice: Son of a Preacher man
My thoughts: It wasn't too bad but she's not a soul singer.
Randy Jackson: You dug in for the last bit. I was a little worried about it but you worked it ouy.
Jennifer Lopez: I think that was better than the first round. You're ready.
Steven Tyler: I think you can push it even more. Come on.
Song Choice: September
My Thoughts: I really liked that arrangement.
Randy Jackson: You sound good but it's not as exciting as we would have liked.
Jennifer Lopez: You did such a different arrangement for that song but I'm not sure it was the perfect performance for you.
Steven Tyler: I think your voice was a lot more powerful than that song.
Song choice: Let's Get It On
My thoughts: Now I'm just bored.
Jennifer Lopez: You always sound so good. It's like you don't like to show emotion too much. I'd like to see more of that cause perhaps that's why America hasn't connected with you as much.
Steven Tyler: That showed your versatility but you need to take it up a notch.
Randy Jackson: You've definitely got to show the emotion. That song wasn't really right for your voice.
Song choice: Midnight Hour
My thoughts: This was fantastic. I loved every second of that performance. Completely sensational.
Steven Tyler: Beautifully awkward. I love your character.
Jennifer Lopez: You make me wanna get up there and do that little step with you. It's great, spontaneous and from the soul.
Randy Jackson: Exactly what you need is exactly what you have. I don't think you know how to do it another way. I love it.
Song choice: Try a Little Tenderness
My thoughts: Wow. That was the powerhouse of the night.
Steven Tyler: Come on girl.
Jennifer Lopez: The vocal ability of so many of you is so great that America needs to connect with you. The voice isn't all of it. Just keep taking it a little bit further.
Randy Jackson: Where you should go now is connecting with the lyric. The audience responds to the emotion.
Song choice: Heard it through the Grapevine
My thoughts: I'm sick of hearing this song as well. At least Skylar tore it up.
Jennifer Lopez: All the girls down here get into it the minute you come out. You're doing a really good job up there the last few weeks.
Steven Tyler: You're like a wild horse who refuses to be tamed.
Randy Jackson: You and Phillip have no problem connecting. Everytime you come on stage I feel like it's a party.
Song choice: Change is Gonna Come
My thoughts: Again, wow.
Randy Jackson: This song was perfect for you. You took your time, let it marinade and let it burst open at the end.
Jennifer Lopez: I don't know, it's crazy but I want more. Please America don't send this boy home.
Steven Tyler: You have stretched your voice to the limits of soul. Your voice climbs inside people when you sing and changes them in that moment.
i'd suggest it should be Hollie Cavanagh going home tomorrow night but she may be saved by the disconnected Elise Testone.
Who do you think is going home? Make sure you vote in our polls.
