It is amazing how one show can create so much conversation among so many. We've discussed it at work in the lunch room, among family and friends, even around the water cooler. Everyone does have a different opinion and favorites. It is also very interesting how much the opinions are similar.

My husband and I really enjoy American Idol. However, we've been disgusted for several weeks for those that have been sent home. After watching the show since the beginning of the season, we feel the disappointment at how many good ones have been eliminated. We should have known since the first of the top 10 was sent home. But, Amanda was left in for to long and Jason and Brook should have been out the door right behind her.

We know so many absolutely adore Jason, we are not so sure why;except maybe the rebel like appearance of his hair or the innocence in his face. But vocally, he really should have been gone a long time ago. We've compared him to Tiny Tim. If you're not old enough to remember him ask someone from the 60's or 70's about him.

Then there is Brooke, yes we both agree she is attractive, however she appears older than she actually is. She comes off as Ms. Innocent but she overly aggressive which shows in how she has to have the last word with everyone including the judges. Her voice is forgettable, there is nothing spectacular about her.

Syesha is good and can sing almost anything. She did a great job in singing Whitney Houston although Simon wasn't thrilled with the performance. She has does a fabulous job all the way through. America must not agree because she has been in the bottom for several weeks.

Both Cook and Archuleta are surperb. We feel they will be the last two standing. My husband feels that Archuleta will take it all the way with Cook left simmering on the stove. I am not so sure, only because of Cook's rocker style. Is it enough to boil over Archuleta? He does has a pretty strong fan base.

After reviewing the past several weeks rating, My husband says that Brook and Syesha will be in the bottom two, with Syesha heading home. He may be right but I feel in reality it should be Brook and Jason in the bottom two, either one leaving would be good. Brook or Jason should have been headed out the door last week. Instead Carly who has an amazing talent was sent packing.

We are not sure what is up with America and the voting system but, they've sent home some true talent.
