American Idol 2007 Episode 7 Review - San Antonio Auditions

Submitted by The Critic on Tue, 2007-02-13 19:53.

San Antonio, Texas is the last stop on our audition tour and the last chance to get hands on a golden ticket to Hollywood. 11,000 contestants filled the stadium and waited for our judges to arrive. Simon had just flown in from London so he's a little jetlagged. I guess we can expect Mr Grumpy to be on show today.

#50411 Haley Scarnato, 24 from San Antonio, TX sings Bonnie Raitt - The Best of Bonnie Raitt - I Can't Make You Love Me I Can't Make You Love Me

#38625 Baylie Brown, 16 from Krum, TX sings Faith Hill - Cry - Stronger Stronger

#44185 Akron Watson, 23 from Dallas, TX sings Sam Cooke - 30 Greatest Hits - Sam Cooke Portrait of a Legend 1951-1964 - A Change Is Gonna Come A Change is Gonna Come and then Marvin Gaye - The Very Best of Marvin Gaye - Let's Get It On Let's Get it On after Simon says he was bored.

#48682 Ashlyn Carr, 18 from Sugar Land, TX sings Michael Bublé - It's Time - Feeling Good Feeling Good and on a second chance Neil Sedaka - Tales of Love - Inseperable Inseperable

#44712 Jimmy McNeal, 23 from Waxahachie, TX sings Sam Cooke - Greatest Hits - Cupid Cupid

22 Made it through to Hollywood. Will we have another winner from the South? Tomorrow, the best of the rest.
