Not wanting to offend anyone, but many of the voters for AI are young white teenage girls that may not be as musically mature as others. I find that many are voting for contestants based on superficiality.
This is a talent contest for good, if not great singers, correct?
I cannot believe Kristy Lee Cook lasted as long as she did. I'll never forget when she sang, "God Bless The USA"; I felt that she insulted the intellect of many American music lovers. She sang the song because she wanted to buy into this nation's love for patriotism and totally redirected their thoughts to the song, rather than how she sang the song. Yet, she won that week, so maybe she was correct.
Well, after tonight, I would be so suprised if Brooke White stays and any of the others go home; particularly Syesha. She gave it her all and did not forget lines; she came out strong and confident. Brooke has released a CD and still gets choked up. I know it's nerve racking, but she is in a musical competition and is performing for all viewers. Why choke up now?
I think the young voters of AI should consult their parents before giving their votes.
Brooke should not make it to next week.
Thanks for reading.
Yeah, that would be awesome if they set the age to vote! I say, you should be at least 18, maybe 17. And those girls that scream and vote like crazy for superficial stuff don't even know what they're voting for!
