Adam Lambert was robbed!!
What is wrong with America? They really f---ed up this one! Are the people who vote deaf, or just stupid? Adam could sing Kris under the table, he has star quality, something Kris Allen will never have! I think too many stupid teenyboppers with cell phones vote for the "cutest face" not the person that can actually sing. I hope this upset doesn't have anything to do with Adam's sexual preferences, that's his business and has nothing to do with the great, raw talent he possesses. Kris Allen will probably fade into obscurity, while Adam Lambert will become the star he's meant to become. His version of "Mad World" just blew me away. I would buy his songs as soon as they were released. Not only do I feel this way but so does my husband, my daughter, my sister and my mother (multi-generations and we all love Adam).
To my family, adam Lambert is our "American Idol".

Simon didn't stand OR clap... because his ego was bruised! He had predicted the wrong winner!! It was a tacky thing for him not to acknowledge Kris.'s well deserved victory... it proved that Simon truely has no class or etttiquete! and is the jerk I've always suspected him to be not to mention it is an alarming display of his immaturity.
His credibility is shot anyway .... he predicted the wrong David last year too.... perhaps he may wanna consider keeping his predictions on the down low and just sticking to constuctive critisism.... OH WAIT... thats right.... he doesn't know hiow to be constructive! He only knows how to verbally bash people and dismiss their talents and make personal insults!
You guys may wanna keep in mind that Simon is nothing more than a tv personality someone needs to play the antagonist... so thats his role
Simon has zero talent of his own to speak of... at least Randy plays the fucken BASS! LOL Simon is an insecure loser.
For all you out there who can't understand why Kris won... you are the same people who don't understand the meaning of genuinity and depth... true artistry ...and you cant distinguish between FLASH and real talent....between soulful and a STAGE ACT....
or compelling abd engaging and sincere.... vs flashy showmanship .... Adam has great technique but there"s no sincerity whatsoever.. Nothing engaging...most of us connect with Kris...
Kris doesn't need to hide behind smoke screens...
he is the real deal... and he is an amazing songwriter too! He will have an amazing career ahead of him!

Tonight's result is devastating. I'll never watch American Idol ever again!!!! Kris may have won but he's career will never soar, because he's not as talented, creative, versatile & remarkable as Adam.

Don't blame American Idol... they didn't vote... The American public voted for Kris. In fact, all of the judges were clearly convinced that Adam would be crowned. Blame America and Americans. And Me because I was 1 of the Millions who voted for Kris. Way to go Kris.

I dont believe for a second that Kris got more votes than Adam. I think this show was rigged from the start and they just let Kris win to make things more interesting because they knew everyone thought that Adam was going to win. American idol is a joke. Besides, there have been runner ups who went on to do much better than the actual winner so this wont hurt Adam at all. I wouldn't be surprised at all if his album drops before Kris.

Thats a joke. He will not go anywhere! Adam will be a star and Kris will fade out like the rest. He strains when he sings and has 0 range. If it was a singing contest then clearly its a joke if its a popularity contest then call it such!
The judges were favoring Adam the whole time..... which was starting to make it a POPULARITY contest but the underdog won.... so therefore it was NOT a popularity contest... DUH!!!!
because true artistry and musianship beat out flashy and over the top POPULAR Adam..... even the media hyped him up...he was all over magazine covers....and Simon was declaring MR POPULAR ADAM the winner when he appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Sjow for Petes sake! Paula did all but hand Adam the damn crown a few months ago!
If it was truely a popularity contest then your Adam wd have won. but America realized they wanted something REAL. And they ignored the media and Simon's pursuasive comments and his rediculous standing ovations for Adam's out of key performances... and they saw thru the BS.... and

Can't believe the result.. Adam is far more talented, original and great performer. I guess people vote for the cute one not that Adam is not. Even if I'm blind, voice alone Adam is far beyond... hands down.
I agree...I am done with Idol. What's the point when the person with the most talent doesn't win. I think there should be a cap on the number of votes/texts cast from each line so that all the teenage girls who voted for Kris would have had a limit. This wasn't a popularity contest but a talent show. Simon didn't even stand because he was so disgusted!
